The idea that only SEC/Big10 teams deserve playoffs is a joke. how are the smaller schools supposed to compete in recruiting if they are always locked out for 3 loss teams from those places. and realignment is on show this weekend with Arizona State, Oregon, SMU and Texas all being 1st year in the conference and you could add Boise with them going to the Pac next year. Tulane were a big12 target who are playing this weekend.

Teams shouldnt drop out for a championship game loss for teams who are not good enough to be playing this weekend.
