On top of Salary, I'm provided with a car allowance and purchased my own vehicle.
Company pays for all fuel.
Unlimited private use.
Based on the above I value it at about $18,000 a year.
No Player payments only.
Coaching Panel and Football operations up to he discretion of the club.
WWTFC coaching panels and football operations are about 900K/year which would be the average.
Adelaide Oval much easier to get to by public transport than footy park, so if you go by PT then it will be a winner.
Parking in a carpark will be interesting, Saturday night the only option of getting a park if you are running late.
Parking on the street , if SANFL finals are a bench mark...
Based on a conservative extra $100/member at 30000 members that's $3million
No wonder the WA clubs are very financially strong.
$35/ticket for a game of AFL footy seems a fair asking price though.
Perhaps increase in ticket prices may help Crows/Power bottom line.
And you wonder why their is limited sympathy for the Power amongst the SANFL club members if this load of crap is a true reflection of the majority down at Alberton.
C'mon you're better than that, don't read headlines and make it a story.
3 Options , with one being the SANFL can walk away, what's the other 2 options prey tell? SACA can walk away or both parties negotiate another deal?
20 years is a long time and I would think the AFL would have more issues...
I wish people would put the "Huge Salary Cap" issue to one side as, $350,000 a year for a club that runs League, reserves and 18 sides is not massive coin.
Its an average of about $7000/year for each player.
The problem is a lot of people think that the clubs shouldn't get a dividend or one...
That's a very good point, I'm not totally familiar with the sublicense agreements and whether they are whole of life, if they are then yes that would be plausible , depends on if there is an agreed mechanism tied up within the agreement to value the sublicense.
Yes that is potentially a hand that could be played, however with the One Club and all , I'm not sure how that all works.
However Max Basheer is a very intelligent lawyer and I would be confident that the two licence agreements the SANFL has with the AFL would be water and air tight.
I think you are getting confused between sub-licence which is what the Power has vs the licence which the SANFL has, difference between paying rent and paying a mortgage.
I think my neighbour should take out a second mortgage to renovate my house because it would be an overall benefit to all...
To answer your question:
The two licences should be owned by the Crows and the Power that I agree with , a market value of which they are sold just needs to be established.
The stadium was built by the SANFL, so I don't know how they could not own it.
You think it should be just donated...
I love your passion for Port Melbourne , I wish more people got involved with the state leagues.
It was an amazing achievement to go the season undefeated, no sarcasm intended.
However , deep deep in the back of your mind you strive for the ultimate recognition of Port Melbourne's proof of...
LOL , the most self interested club in SA history having a crack at us for only caring about the SANFL competition.
Relevance to WAFL salary cap is not there , its like me saying to the AFL how about you halve your club's salary caps because I think you should spend that money on country and...
Just as he ignored commentating on your declining attendances.
Well I do agree on one matter, that the two AFL licences should go back to Adelaide and Port... at market prices. Then they can do as they wish for better or for worse.
Sanfl clubs do invest in junior talent , unfortunately the...
Start getting your mates to some home games and feed that mouth of yours some more delicious Footy Park hot dogs , its big enough.
You will make a bigger impact upon Port's financial state doing that than your blame everyone else propaganda.
Amen.
Sick of the whinging from the two AFL clubs supporters that their problems are a direct result of the SANFL clubs.
Here is some advice:
Don't go and build 15 million dollar training facilities and then complain you are short of a dollar.
Don't go and buy into a pub that is that...
LOL , because the Foxtel Cup means so much.
We've got better things to do than run around at 10am playing in some Mickey Mouse competition.
Raise the prize money and we will consider sending the U18's.
