Too right "Gaso", Stefan is a deserving winner and a top player. Whilst I am surprised that young Benny didn't poll better, these things can be somewhat subjective. Ben has a GF B.O.G medal that he will cherish for many a year. I'm sure Stefan would swap medals in a heartbeat. Kudos to both boys.
Damn Sunday footy, Willy Prez a little gun shy, closes the bar at 11.30. Off to the Rifle Club hotel, only for them to shit themselves when 50 roll in enmasse and close. A couple of pies from 7-11 and it's all over until brekky and a mad Monday.
Commiseration to the Pirates, 2 great games of...
Look boys, everyone on this page bar a couple are CY's people, maybe not players I don't know? But we could be talking around the bar without the need for anonymity. The decision on Hynes was crook, but the Ammateurs is not a democratically run comp' there is no right for appeal. Although...
Presume you mean "beat" Peninsula? With the circumstances surrounding why Peninsula are in this grade, I wouldn't think a contrived result would go down too well with the powers that be. Most people already feel that they were whacked over the head with a feather when put down to D2. On form...
Settle down Sasha, what's said in the sheds, stays in the sheds. After promotion our goal was to make the finals, we are in that position if good enough. Peninsula aside, 4-5 sides are locked into the improvers stakes, many twists and turns between now and rd18
as previously stated sherlock is definitely not from willy cy's. went down to the fearon on saturday, ivanhoe are a very well drilled side that ran out of puff before 3/4 time. before that time it was a good game of footy, not knowing a single thing about ivanhoe i can't offer a reason for the...
hey port-man, wasn't there, haven't heard anything, if true that wouldn't have done a young undermanned willy outfit any good. nevertheless, i wouldn't think that you boys should be taking some moral highground after the disgraceful performance of players and supporters alike in last years...
went to the fearon yesterday to see the chicken (going o/s) and dave lee show in the clubbies, footy at the fearon every week is too good. word back from the country was no good, eltham too big, too strong, too committed and can't believe i'm hearing it, too disciplined. no wheeler, no chicken...
not as silly as it sounds there are a few good kids in the clubbies for him to work with, also heard he's not far off 150 games. long awaited premiership last season, 150 games would befit a great career.
sherlock is not a willy member he is a pot stirrer from outside. i've been to two of willy's home games, no star 1's players in the 2's there, reasonable depth though. i hear one Dave Lee is on the track, possibly just in a coaching/mentoring capacity
