I had the choice of gping to the game - have a priority 1 membership, and would usually go amongst a group of 14. Instead I'll be spending it at a pub in the country with some mates. Figured I'd been blessed to see 08, 13 & 14, plus I kinda missed watching it with my friends, rather than family...

stoked - our normal footy group (there's 16 of us) got allocated M1, M5 and M14. We all have priority 1, but usually some of us get put in the heavens some where.

That's near where I sit during the normal H&A season - they've probably marked it as restricted view as a camera is right next to it. Shouldn't be a problem.

Didn't the hawks play on Anzac day down in tassie this year? I was under the impression that the Pies vs Bombers is the only game in melbourne played, but games can be played on other states. Plus, it be hard having only one game on the sunday.

Had Buddy gotten off last week, I would have seen the collision today as nothing more than a free, at max a 50m penalty. However, as he didn't, if the AFL want to be consistent, then Lloyd will get done for it. Which sucks for the game, but meh. On a side note, as much as Brown's comments were...

Quite a few of the shop fronts along Glenferrie Rd have actually been decorated in the hawks colors for the past few weeks. Makes me smile everytime i walk past :)
