Looks like I missed out through the ballot.

If anyone has 2 tickets I am interested. Unlikely I know but have to at least put it out there.

Afl silver with club support. Been to every game this year. (just in case that weighs into people's thinking )

You are still a chance with your AFL silver membership. If the AFL full member tickets don't sell out then Silver members are offered tickets. You will be part of group to be offered first if you have affiliated membership with Hawthorn because they are in the GF. Check out the AFL website to be sure you know times and dates.

Why don't you ring the AFL Event Office and ask them why the packages are so much more expensive than in 2008?

I'm happy! I was priority 2 & got standing room M26. Is this in AFL members?
2008 we were in the nose bleed section so i'm not that concerned we got standing room. Going to the GF!!!!!

I go to the footy with a large group of people (There's 14 of us) so we had to split the ballot groups into two lots. The 'kids' (of which I am one) got tickets in M32 Row FF, but the adults got sent all the way to the heavens in the Olympic stand.

I would find this amusing except for the fact one of them has a broken leg, so may struggle getting up the stairs.. Any idea of the chances of getting his seat changed through ticketek or HFC??

Nope, Ticketek and Hawthorn FC won't be able to do anything for you unfortunately; best bet is to find someone here willing to swap and you might have to offer them a few frothies

I don't understand why they can't allocate the best seats to the highest membership categories (e.g. Legends Club, Kennedy Club). I came out of it pretty well as a Gold member, but have sympathy for others, especially those from higher membership categories, who haven't been as lucky.

Agreed, i'm happy to be going to the game but bitterly disappointed that i'm sitting on Q deck when the AFL has the majority of N and P level seats; I don't know a single person who entered the ballot that's received these seats and as a Kennedy club member I'd have thought M level was where I was going to be sitting to watch the Hawks take out our 11th flag. I don't quite understand how these tickets were allocated and how certain members in the tiers below got better seats.

Might have 2 x Q deck seats up for trade for 2 x standing room tickets on M deck.

I'll keep you posted. I only concern in trying to purchase the tickets online tomorrow is the previous failures in getting ticketek to accept more than on barcode in the "Enter Barcodes" field. Every time I've tried to enter more than one barcode, it says "Invalid Barcode/s". Any tips?

EDIT: Just found some info on Ticketek website: "Enter each member barcode number on a separate line". I've always tried to enter the barcodes continuously, either with a space or semi-colon in between.

nah packages are probably out of the question. honestly willing to spend at an absolute max $500 a ticket. i really wish my whole family signed up as members now we never woulda had this problem!

Priority 2 and got a standing room ticket M29. So so happy i got a ticket, have gone every week and all my other mates upgraded to gold members this year and i forgot too and seen every match with them but thought I would miss out, but luckily I haven't.

I am happy to stand and watch but just wanting to know if anyone around that area of the ground prefers to stand and watch over sitting down then let me know if you want to somehow swap the tickets or meet and exchange them so I can sit down, PM me anyone if youcan do that, if not it's all good! Go the mighty Hawks!
