Yeah but he is a Collingwood supporter flog :) ... negates all of the above.
Seriously just want the draft to happen so we can find out who we get... a bit like being a kid again and waiting for xmas morning to roll around
Sorry for the late reply. Yes you are correct, it is not a long term injury if managed correctly.
My Son was playing a bunch of Volleyball and it caused stress on certain parts of his back. Scans revealed that he had a Pars Defect, which essentially meant that if he continued and not rested...
Hmmm... my Son had a pars defect... essentially meant if he didn't rest he would end up with a fracture in his spine. Basically had to sit out of sport for 12 months. But it healed nicely. Definitely not a good injury to be carrying.
Touch wood he doesn't do a knee or something that like that. It's a risk with the long term contracts but also understand that is sometimes what it takes to get them over the line. Would have preferred 4 years with some KPI extension clauses.
He has definitely improved over the past few...
So we have to trade for ANB and Peatling whilst also holding onto pick 4 (and hope the Arse Pirates don't get NM pick 2), then hopefully get Hobson (somehow) and have enough draft capital to get Welsh.
I assume we won't get any compo for Berg, given we got Cummings.
Some creative thinking...
Maybe he is being brought in as a toe cutter. Coming in to see which coaches are performing/not performing and making the tough calls because others are incapable of it. I have no idea but just speculating.
Cummings should have played in the West Coast era of Cox, Cousins, Ball ... I can hear the call now from Gerard Whately.. Cox into Cousins, Cummings onto Ball
I like your idea of trying to get back a pick for Dodson. Do you think if we were to hold onto our current 2nd round pick (Cal T claimed it is going to Melb for ANB) Dodson would still be available? I know it is crystal ball stuff but just wondering what peoples thoughts are.
Also do people...
Random question, I generally frequent this board around this time of year, but haven't done so for a few years. I remember there used to be a regular poster called "Stiffy" obviously after Stiffy Johncock. Out of interest does anyone know if "Stiffy" is still around but perhaps have renamed...
Well they aren’t banking on the tooth fairy. Although you know the tooth fairy comes from port Adelaide. Otherwise she would have been called the teeth fairy

I barrack for two teams in the AFL... the Crows and anyone playing Port.
In 2004 I put a bet on Port to beat Brisbane... was more than happy to lose my money but at least if Port won (which obviously they did) if I got crap from Port fans I could tell them I was happy they won as I got money...
I remember Blighty rating Pedlar very highly back in 2022 before he got game time in 2023. But must admit I am getting tired of being hopeful only to be disappointed. Generally (like probably a lot of supporters) you are just hopeful that your young players are going to be guns and when they...
