    Rookie Draft

I'd love Aaron Mullett as a rookie. Was a bit surprised he didn't go in the ND. But I really like to look of this kid. Has got a nice left boot on him, and his kicking is generally pretty good, without being exceptional, and for a guy of hie height 184cm, he's a really good mark. But one thing...

Draft Pick #14 2010 - Brodie Smith - Post your thoughts here!

I hope people don't get too worried about this guy, to be honest he's one of the best mids in the draft, and just take a step back and think about this. With Danger (the mad bull) and now Smith, both 188cm and absolutely monsters at the stoppages. I can't wait to see them lining up in the centre...

Draft Pick #61 2010 - Jarryd Lyons - Post your thoughts here!

Very Happy with Lyons at 61, I was personally hoping for either Alex Browne, Daniel Farmer or Jarryd Lyons, Thank god we got Lyons, looks a ripper, love the fact that he's tough, has nice skills, is quick and can TACKLE.

    Official NAB 2010 Draft Rumors/Predictions/Preferences...

Pick 14 will land us a decent mid that's for sure. In terms of who we'll get well, Rendell has made sure very few know what his thinking and even the 'experts' have trouble with it. But, in terms of who we'll get I think most of the names stated here are on the money i.e. Caddy, Smith, Smedts...

    Adelaide Trade Week Analysis

Well thank god trade week is over. I think that considering the areas we needed addressing, we've done quite well, especially considering the fact we still have pick 14, which now allows us to add a nice midfield prospect. In relations to the 3 trades we were involved with, I think everyone in...

Rumour CROWS-RELATED TRADE RUMOURS/PROPOSALS - ALL trade rumours & proposals go here! (Part 2)

Re: CROWS-RELATED TRADE RUMOURS - ALL trade rumours go here! (Part 2) Hurn would be a good pick up by us, but I don't think that it will be possible with how highly he is regarded at wce, and he is considered a future leader at the club, and that's something the eagles lack especially in their...

2nds Sam Martyn, Aaron Duncan seasons

I did want to stay and watch the GWS game, but to be honest I forced my self to get out there at 10am on a Sunday morning (I like my sleep ins), and to be honest Blacktown Olympic Park isn't around the corner for me, bit of a drive, but it was worth it. I reckon I would have stayed had it not...

2nds Sam Martyn, Aaron Duncan seasons

Headed down to the to watch Vic Country vs. Rams game, thank god the rain stopped, and left after watching half the WA vs QLD game. It was pretty windy out there and the game was as you'd expect for a div 1 vs div 2 team. I went to the game to see how 4 players went Parker, Heppell, Atley...

    #12 - Daniel Talia

I don't know if it's just me, but from watching the champs videos and the highlights on the net, I see a bit of Sam Fisher (St. Kilda) in him, just the way he moves, takes marks and even kick to a certain extent. He could easily be used in the way the saints use Fisher, in the sense that similar...

    Burgatron 2009 - Adelaide's Targets

As exciting as it is when the 'experts' phantom drafts come out, I am always left feeling unimpressed with Burgratrons draft predictions for the crows. If we do take Jetta with our 1st pick (as it seems likely WCE aren't taking him), I would be left a bit perplexed with that pick, but...

    potential trade bait ----tex

According to the fox sports afl rumor mill, Essendon are willing to "move heaven and earth" to land young Tex. BE WORRIED PEOPLE BE VERY WORRIED, THE RUMOR MILL IS WELL AND TRULY ON A ROLL:rolleyes:. On a serious note, he has re-signed with us, and it has been much publicised that prior to us...

    Craigy on 5AA ???

I think a fair bit of perspective has to be taken into consideration on this board regarding the contract offered to Tippett. At the end of the day the perfect example (very similar situation) is that of Brian Lake. Now he is as important to the Dogs as Tippett is to the Crows. As most people...

    Some Interesting Points....

And don't forget Danger or Mackay. They were superb. I will never forget the center bounce after Anthony's goal with danger clearing the ball through the pack and trying to crash through the tackles, and he got his hands free and dished a handball to Edwards...(it was an awesome sight). On top...

Crows Gambling on a Premiership in 2010?

I can understand why the club wants to keep Burton (more for insurance), now that Gill is almost certainly gone, and we really will be all our eggs in the one basket if we expect all the youngsters (Walker and Mckernan especially) to come in and play consistent footy for the whole season, and...

    It feels weird

Luckily for us stabby, draft day is 2 days earlier then normal Thursday 26/11 (from memory). Time just goes so much slower when there isn't much crows footy news. I just keep going to afc.com.au to see if anything new has come up, and to my disappointment, nothing much to report.

Now that we have pick 13..

Like most have said no one will know who we are taking until Mr. Rendell gets the word "Pick 13 Adelaide", I love the way he operates, the 2 years he has been in charge, most experts have been confused with who we will take. Also I agree that rendell likes to pick player who may not have 'killed...

    Past Player - Sam Martyn

Re: NSW Scholarship player - Sam Martyn Thanks for that mate. Just wanted to know which positions he was playing in. I mean was he playing more HBF/wing, or did he play all over the ground?

    Craigys Presser

And playing 1 man down for more then half a game of footy in 30 degree conditions. I still believe that if Kinghta wasn't injured we would have beaten them, as the boys seemed to lose a lot of run with one less mid/forward but as Craigy said, there were a lot of inexcusable errors by our boys...

    We must keep tippet

I'm relatively confident that he will stay beyond next year. What excited me even more then Keeping Tippett is a forward line consisting The great man, SMACK (craigy was genuinely excited about him in the post-match press conference), Texas Ranger and The Porps. If our forward line is dangerous...

Who do you want to win the flag now?

The Saints are still my bet, but the Dogs are going to give them a run for their money, and then they're going to come up against a GREAT Geelong side (they better). If the Saints don't win this year this will probably be the mother of all chokes, considering how they've absolutely dominated...

    Craigys Presser

Craigy is the best coach in the afl, this man deserves a premiership more then anyone. The way he has turned this club around is quite remarkable, and the fact that before the season and even at the mid season mark everyone including our supporters didn't really think we were going to be a 'top...

Kurt Tippett - what will be the trade?

The reason he has not signed a contract yet is mainly because the crows season is very much still alive and it has been well documented by the club and Kurt himself that all parties will sit down at the end of the season and discuss his contract then. This itself is a big indication from Kurt...

    VB Out

Agree with these match-ups, but id Davis is playing in the middle i wouldn't want Johncock to follow him. Johncock has be absolutely awesome rebounding off the back line and I wouldn't use him to tag Davis all over the ground. On the note, I don't see any point changing a team that has been...

    The Team that Craig Built

It is quite remarkable how Craigy has re-built an ageing side with not much youth coming through to a club that not only has some very good young players in it's 22 but also for the first time has a strong group of talent who will be pushing for spots in the team, and it's this competition...

    Brent Reilly

Re: Brent Reiley I'm pretty sure he's contracted. However, in terms of a trade, i think it will be very unlikely, and if it does happen i think the crows will want a 1st round pick around 10 or so, and since the tigers have pick 3 it will be very hard to trade unless you can get your hands on...

Adelaide vs Hawthorn Gameday thread - WELCOME TO THE SLOANE ZONE

I had a feeling last weeks disgraceful loss to a depleted saints team would bite us in the back this game. Bloody port and their incompetent ways keeps the hawks alive, and their ripping it a new one, absolutely dominating in the middle and we're all over the place, i really don't want to watch...
