    Marto’s knockers

Marto's knockers have always come from the Eastern States. Not till i came to Victoria did i see how deep the hatred goes. HIs domination of both sub-continentel series and best spinners in the world this year only confirm his legend status. I remember he was 12th man for about 2 years...

West Coast - Under achievers and proud of it?

Dimensions don't mean as much as weather conditions. Add that to Sydney's anti-football gameplan and the result was fair enough. Sure its an excuse, but most football is played in dry conditions and is better for seeing a team's full potential. Eg. Collingwood beats Brisbane in a wet final...

West Coast - Under achievers and proud of it?

So if the game was at Subi, you'd expect the same result?

    Wce 2005

If Gardiner can play well at CHF next year, we can win the flag. If Jonathon Brown plays at CHF for us next year, we would definately win the flag. If neither of those two happen, WCE have no chance.

    Delisted Eagles for 2005!

I thought anyone can be traded if all parties agree on terms. COntract or no contract?

    Stenglein to Eagles for Waters?

Who are you, Stenglein's brother? IMO Stenglein at best is a midfield stopper who uses illegal holding to stop opponents. He is slow, his kicks are floaters.... he takes too long to make decisions.. Once again he is SLOW. If Worsfold did mention him as a target, then its either to destabilize...

    Delisted Eagles for 2005!

Don't think we'll try and trade Cox till end of next year, if at all. Im not convinced on what level Gardiner will be in the future. Hope he gets back to his best or his contract will mess up our Salary cap. As for Cox's kicking_ his foot passing is better than Gardiner's.

    Finals

The only thing that would stop us beating Sydney is Goal kicking accuracy. Take Sydney away from the Sub-size sub-standard SCG and you aren't left with much. Check these two results. Telstra Stadium 2004 Rd 13 Sydney Swans 13. 7. (85) def. Collingwood 11. 13. (79) Rd 21 Sydney Swans 17. 8...

    Sick To Death

"AFL Breast-feeding Swans?" It's true... but because its based purely on money, it's gonna burn them this weekend. They couldn't pick a worse place than Telstra STadium to play a team like West Coast. Just have to make sure they cut the grass.

    Stenglein to Eagles for Waters?

Would Stenglein get a game in the Brisbane/Port/StKilda midfield? Then WTF would West Coast want with him!?! We already have Roan Jones and Kasey Green who are at his level.. and they play WAFL.

    Fremantle press conference

Looks like the word from Freo is that it's all going well... not surprising. Still, its a shame the St Kilda game wasn't at Subi... Then all the fans could have given them a 10 minute standing ovation for another crap performance.

Chris "Excuses" Connolly at it again..

Makes you laugh thinking the Dockers had 3 midfielders get AA last year. Really, how many undeserving AA's will Pavlova have before his career his over? This year, Freo is pushing for another Pav AA selection. He would play as the soft, slow, forward-running reciever, finisher type. (This...

Journo's opinions of AFL in Sydney.

Actually that would work out well. Destroying* Essendon at the MCG would be priceless considering '96 and even 02 (when we were forced to play at TD instead of MCG). *Unless it rains, cant really see West Coast losing that one. Midfields are the factor on big grounds and the gulf between EFC's...

    Hay Gone

Glass is a very good FB, but it's Hunter, Lynch, Chick that have caused major improvement in our backline. As for Hay... yeah he is Gone.

    Jeff Farmer

Get off it Jabber. We have Phil Matera who is easily as much if not more of a glory seeker than Farmer and less effective. If Farmer was in "our system for the last 3 years", right now he'd be doing much more damage then Phil no question.

    Jeff Farmer

Actually Farmer's one of the only Dockers who can hold his head high this season. I have no love for Freo but Farmer would be close to 80 goals if he was the West Coast small forward this year. Gun player no doubt.

    Possible Trades ?

Given recent history... Geelong will be targeting either Munro or Gaspar or any other dud forward we have right now.

    Sydney/WCE MCG Final Looms

Finally, West Coast get a little payback for getting screwed over twice in the past. Really, who could care less about Sydney crying over this. WC has been the most effected by the agreement in the past, and it will be sweet irony going to the G in two weeks to see West Coast get their first...

    Possible Trades ?

There are two kinds of players that are keen to move West. One is the kind of player that has a burning desire to play for a club thats closer to their heart. eg Peter Bell, Daniel Chick. The other just wants the nice lifestyle.. and only performs when their contract is in negotiation or they...

Who will make way for Cuz this week?

I'm happy Cuz is back this week as opposed to the Brisbane game or Melbourne next week. Lets face it...you couldn't ask for a softer opposition for a guy returning from injury. I'm not the biggest fan of Cousins because at times, he does overposseses,is soft.. etc. But its more a result of...

    Sampi Goal

Anyone remember Peter Matera kicking a similar style goal? Unfortunately it was a game during the Judge years at Subi so not many might remember. He basically got the ball, about 45m out directly in front.. flat footed and about to be tackled... he took one step and kicked the banana straight...
