I hold a very different opinion to many on here (and, if we believe our sources, the club Itself). I believe we are in a premiership window that is largely dependent on Cripps staying fit. That may be 1 - 3 years depending on luck and our new fitness guru. If we are to capitalise on that we have...
I would have been comfortable with the club paying two first rounders for Mac Andrew and SDK isn't far behind. A first and future second seems fair. We need a KPD more than any other role in my view. Seems strange our link to Leek Alir has weakened...
I've got confidence (although it's waning a little) that our recruitment team won't be getting lost in the shiny new toy that is Petracca. Harry is going nowhere so to get Trac, we'd need to give up multiple first rounders. The team needs a key defender much more than another mid. I'd prefer to...
I have never seen a worse display of umpiring in my life. Absolutely inspid. But we did have our chances. And we didn't take them. And we deserve to miss this year. I'm hopeful the end of year review is genuine.
If you're anything like me, and you take Stewart, you'll be more upset if you lose (particularly if it's a close one) in those circumstances than if you took a reasonable risk on Bont. He scored 157 and 169 last two times against the Roos.
I need Xerri to go over 155 today to win (based on predictor). While he was massive last week, this week, its against much stronger opposition. Am I any chance? Would anyone take Nank over Xerri this week for the same hail mary?
With a 124 point lead, suggest you take Marshall. Bont might go 150 but that won't lose you the game. Walsh has been playing on one leg. As a Blues fan, I hope he has a cracker, but the odds are against him.
We have been shown up yet again. No coaching nous. Hawks way too desperate. Can't blame this performance on injuries. Anyone who does hasn't watched the game.
We looked better last week when he was off. Martin became the second tall and forward entry was cleaner. I'm comfortable we'll be more dynamic without him for this game (and would prefer we rest him if he's not able to play).
What game were you watching? Port deserved that every day of the week? We deserved nothing. And we got exactly that. Changes are needed before the end of the year and I'll back our team to do it. But, no matter what we do, we are now facing an interstate prelim (if we get there). This is where...
Agree with the concept but I'd do it slightly differently to create cover on each line. Trade Kruegar, bring Dawson down. Send Humphries into Defence so you have reasonable cover. Cheap mid ($102k). Touk to anyone around $600k. Keep the one trade.
Trade carnage this week. Need to trade / upgrade Miller. Who to? LDU, Cripps (+$45k), Day (+$55k) or Gulden (+$15k). Or someone else below $620k. Can't afford Neale or Dunkley (who would be the obvious ones). Money isn't necessarily a concern but might be helpful going forward with limited...
Sounds like Pou will be getting plenty of midfield minutes with Saints out of the running. Named in the midfield too (for what its worth). Can't help but think with the Cats fighting for a final spot that Mannagh doesn't get consistent games.
I should note that I'll be trading Rankine in for both of these trades. And a final piece of info that is useful - I am concerned about Fisher's role with McK back.
I will make one more trade. Trading out either Fisher or Ridley. Fisher injured this week might seem like an obvious choice but if I keep Fisher down back (when trading Ridley) I have DPP action across my team with the need for only one premo sub on the bench (in any position). Ridleys breakeven...
Depends on coverage but Ridley appears to be getting the points in the Bombers backline and they have a tougher second half of the season. Rowell has dropped off considerably.
Curnow if you have DPP coverage. Blues have an easier draw in the second half and Charlie had a slower start to the season but appears to be hitting his straps now.
Agree with you completely. Charlie is far less effective this year than last. The stats (and number of goals) flatter him. Looks lazy currently and appears to be focused on the 'highlight reel' goals rather than working for the team. Falls off way too easily and fails to chase opposition like...
I'm torn between Houston and Sinclair. Ryan has had weak patches and while I love Doc as a Blues fan, his role could change again if they let Saad loose
Need to fill my last defensive spot (again...thanks Yeo). I'm contemplating Houston, Sinclair and Ridley (in that order). Take out Houston's 47 against the Dogs and he's averaging highest and is a big POD. Ridley scoring very well recently but has done it against predominantly weaker teams...
