I know it's been mentioned already and from memory there were some defensive responses... but the turnout from the section around the cheersquad has been very poor this year... If you can't fill the area that's fine, but surely it should become an area that GA can sit or something like that...
It’s gotten to the point where I’d rather the Thursday crew replaced the Friday huddle now that we’re losing Thurs footy. It’s still a bit different from the usual mmm style but much more enjoyable imo, and Isaac has been a great find.
I'd agree with that in previous years, however first two games this year I'd had absoloutely nothing for the entire two and a half hours, including in quarter. Perhaps it's more that those games both drew 35k+ but this was smaller and hence less demand on the network?
I seemed to have some luck with Telstra, struggled during the breaks but it was at least enough to check stats and such during the quarters. So a starting point that will help for this year, and glad to see the response from the trust, but still not a long term solution.
It's been interesting seeing the reporting on this one. Obviously there's plenty of places that need money in the state at the moment, but would it not be worrying if the owner of a large piece of infrastructure (in this case the state govt. through the KP trust), with multiple tennants, wasn't...
Yeah heard it too, and then saw it on social media after. Was from the standing area, kind of ironic cheering when the kangas were chipping it around with a bit of boring uncontested stuff. Cheering every mark. Was a nice boring quarter so don’t blame them haha

Looks like he's doing the call (but not pre game) tonight as you say, but he is listed to be on tomorrow night also. Wonder if that'll eventuate or if they'll change it on the day perhaps, or...
Can't say I've ever understood this opinion... I'll pretty quickly take him over most other journo turned opinionist types out there. And I'd suggest the lack of engagement you've had all day in this thread suggests that I mightn't be alone in my thinking.
If you're not a fan, don't be...
Fair enough to question it haha, but I would never do that to an opposition supporter... unless you were a hawks fan, in that case I wouldn't rule it out!
But yeah as others have confirmed, not taking the piss on this occasion.
Fair to say the foundation jumper has copped some criticism, and I'd be in agreeance if they roll it out in round 1 2028. But as others have mentioned, there's a pretty good chance it'll go through plenty more change before then... plenty of time for us all to have a crack at our own versions...
And on this, from a KRock point of view, it makes the krockfootball.live stream redundant as there isn't internet access to make it work, even via the stadium's wi-fi. I'm sure plenty have contacted the club as it seemed worse than usual, but if you guys have a connection to someone to raise it...
Must admit that part was a bit of counting, though not hard when you know the number of rows
And I’d say you might be right, reckon the opener and the Richmond game later in the year will be the big test to get that highest possible number, maybe around the 38k mark
Little bit of an excercise in procrastination for a thursday evening... It has always annoyed me that there is only a nice round number given as the capacity (40,000) so I wondered if I could work out the exact number.
Used the ticketmaster map and got Illustrator to count all the dots for me...
On the way out of the community series game there were KP trust staff everywhere down there (presumabely to make sure nobody went in the areas not cleared for occupation)... I'd imagine there'll be a similar setup this weekend, with staff to direct patrons up either stairwell.
I would agree...
There's also a similar area on the lower concourse (level with the entryway things on the lower bowl) with a view to the outside as well. However a bit smaller.
Agreed.
Might be a bit controversial on here but the Sunday team from last year was probably my favourite of the three, and the DSL team felt a little bit like an extension of that with Joey and Jay.
Interested to see what the makeup of the different rub programs is this year... teased on the...
I did get a couple, and you’d be right… they weren’t all quite done, and a bit of the protective railing is still up too. Just a few finishing touches to be done before next weekend :)
Could be too far fetched, but after an outpouring of support for the axed kiis breakfast show seen today, could triple m look at using Jase Lauren and Clint to fill their potential sheargold sized hole?
It could be a fairly large change in terms of the target audiences of the two stations but...
Nothing planned there, I presume it's just designed as extra concourse, and a link between the Hickey Stand and the new stand. Not an overly large passage between the two but I don't suppose that's all that important anyway.
