If Dempsey can ever stay on the park then Ted Richards to the Swans for #19 (Dempsey) and #51 (Sam Lonergan) will be pretty good for both teams. Even if he doesn't I think we've got a winner in Lonergan.
I thought that McPhee deserved GOTY before I saw the set up of Davis's goal.
McPhee's actual goal was more impressive, but as far as I know one of the main criteria for judging GOTY is the set up, and Davis's set up of that goal was awesome.
Fill free to bag me out but this is my opinion on the best team from 1990 - 2008. Btw i am only 17 so really only have watched for about 11 years.
Then why pick an 18 year time frame?
Absolutely he is, and the AFL must do something about. They need a new rule preventing any coach or assistant coach from coaching against a team they used to be coach or assistant coach for. Just in case they help their team win.
They can back that one up with a rule preventing players from...
Not bad. Certainly a lot simpler than some of the models proposed around here. I have a few comments though.
My main criticism is that that it's not THAT different from the current system. Sure, it's probabilistic now but teams are still better off, pick wise, finishing lower on the ladder. So...
Even if I hadn't been hoping for big things, he would still have been the second biggest disappointment of the year behind Gumby's ridiculous run of injuries.
Right:
1: Knights would turn out to be a great coach, he just had a longer term vision than most people.
2: We had more talent, and would finish higher, than the "experts" predicted.
3: We'd beat Carlton twice.
Wrong:
1: Laycock to take another step and be one of the dominant ruckmen in the...

I thought that once placed on the LTI list, you were unable to comeback for at least eight weeks?
I think you'll find we have a pretty decent record against the Lions in Melbourne recently. We managed to beat them there in 2006 for one of our 3.5 wins for the season.
Question for those Fremantle fans bagging Phat Toni, how is he wrong? I was under the impression we took him in the pre-season draft with a pick we got in a trade from Fremantle.
Re: Daniel Rich is our man :)
And which one of Richmond's monster forwards do you think he should have matched up on? Maybe he could have run up the wing with Richo?
I'd hope that both he, and Fletcher, go around at least one more time.
Maybe he's not playing as well as he was when he won three in row with Brisbane, maybe he's struggling because he's been played on smaller more agile forwards who he's never matched up well on, maybe it's because our...
