The AFC are trading GWS their 2nd rd pick of 2016 for Hampton, who, like Anderson, was not getting a game in 2015 but with a much less quality footy club. Anderson is also being pursued by several clubs.
Either AFC are bidding overs for Hampton, or Anderson will go for a superior pick, e.g...
Yep. It's called this morning's Advertiser.
Would be a very ordinary deal indeed. The articles also suggests Cats have ruled out Murdoch, Cockatoo, LM and Gregson.
Another slant on the trades + players theme:
ADEL: Cat's 1st round, 2015, 2016 + Murdoch
CATS: Danger + one of: Lyon, Grigg, Kedge (apprehensive to give Kedge away but if he's not going to get a game at AFC...)
Or...
ADEL:Cat's 1st round, 2015, 2016 + Cockatoo
CATS: Danger + CEY
Problems...
Fair enough. I rated him a little higher than that. Tackling machine. Not quick and good not great ball use but gets plenty of it.
I'm sure some club will see enough value to get the Lions a reasonable trade. First round pick, I'd say.
Not sure how anyone can stand all the adverts on 5AA and I'm talking right throughout the day! Could not give two $hits about Sammy's on the Marina, the Borough Hotel group or the god damn Ram burger! I'll make a point not to use any of the sponsors. Would listen to 89.1, jjj, 3d, any day over...
I don't think he'd sign right away, even if we got Clarko.
Like we both agreed, results will be the key.
Clarko and us 9th would not surpass Bassett and us 4th (just being theoretical) but nobody can know the outcome of this until the season has been underway for a while, which is why i think...
Everyone seems to be black and white on the issue but reality is, he might not know himself.
It's entirely reasonable that he may want to see how the club performs this season and whether he thinks a flag is a realistic possibility in the near-term for the club.
Come halfway through the...
Kerridge, Grigg and Wright have all played some fantastic footy at different times over the last two seasons; enough to show they are well worth their spot when in form and given an opportunity. Hopefully the next coach manages to e tract the best out of these three, although I do wonder if...
His kicking is what saves his spot in the team but I'm still not sold on him. Like much of the back line, he panic handballs to the opposition, or out the back into the corridor, which is pretty basic footy. Not quick either and now that the opposition are aware of his handball-receive-goal...
Agree and would much prefer that scenario but it's all about getting something good rather than potentially nada next year in the trade period.
Mayes/Aish + Lion's 2nd Rd and Pie's 1st Rd?
