No mate, you forgot, everyone has injuries and so every team is equally impacted by them at any point in the season. Carlton with from memory only one AFL-listed player playing in their VFL team that week due to injuries was a common occurrence that happened to all teams

Yeh 2021 draft had Darcy as well who would have still gone for a packet of chips to the Dogs. But JHF/Daicos would go 1 and 2 in terms of players available to all clubs.

If Daicos wasn't a father/son he would have been taken at pick 1 or pick 2. Impossible to get up that far in a draft with JHF and Daicos in it.

I'd argue 23' Newman was probably a bit better than 24' Newman. This was also definitely not a career best year for Weitering. He has had better years previously - making an All Australian team doesn't change that. Also, don't understand how number of players with career best seasons matters...
