I agree Gaff is rated very highly internally, but i would be talking to him now and ask for a decision by the end of this season if we are serious about a rebuild.
My thoughts below if he decides to leave + other trades, interested to know what people think?
Trade
Gaff for St Kilda's 1st...
I am looking for 2 tickets seated together. I have currently got 1 ticket happy to swap my current ticket and pay the difference for the 2nd ticket. Please pm me if u can help out
To anyone who gives it to him, whether he plays his role properly in ur eyes or not. Atleast he tries his hardest and is not a "top 10 draft pick". So he has come a long long way.
I find some of Simmo's moves strange and this shows we lack experience in our coaches, thought the move to start wellingham as a sub was weird considering he hasnt played that bad in the last couple of weeks. Thought McGovern has been outstanding in the 2 games he played and obviously we need to...
Even if i am right, Why would they come out and tell everyone this is what wce wanted, Collingwood got what they wanted they moved up the draft, brisbane got what they wanted pick 28.
I think there is more to this than what we can see mate, I reckon we only traded pick 6 to collingwood after an agreement with collingwood they wont go after Sheed with their picks, that leaves brisbane and melbourne's draft picks. Maybe it was take 28 and don't touch sheed or if ur then we wont...
It is obvious the structures are not working but the thing that gets me angry is since the start of the season we haven't improved one bit so its obvious they are sticking with the same, It is getting easier for good interstate teams to come and roll us at home as they know our weakness now.I...
Hutchings i believe has really improved in the last 2 years, I think he was runner up to kane mitchell for the Sandover medal this year aswell. plus he is only 21.
If we do get rid of him for what saints are offering i will be disappointed knowing that we could have ended up with pick 13. I have got no doubt that if we did ask for pick 13 for brown they would have given it to us. they ended up using it on hickey and gold coast would have take 25 for...
Good thinking but there is no way saints will give up 25&26 for just brown and 44 have to include 41 aswell. Essendon will be really happy if they get 26 and 41. with ur idea WCE & ESS win and Saints Lose.
I don't think they will give up 25 & 26, But if they are persistent with their offers. We should ask essendon to get involved and throw this one at them first thing in the morning.
Saints get: Brown, Pick 41 ,Pick 44
WCE get: Cripps, Hooker, 25, 26
Essendon get: Pick 47(Saints), Pick 61(WCE)...
Don't think u understood my first post but this is exactly what i meant, If they don't just want to hand over the pick13 for brown the max we should do he is give them Lynch's compensation and get their third round pick from them. Regarding pick 13 they said yesterday it was for sale and were...
I understand that i would be the happiest man if he stayed but in saying that if he tells us he wants to leave and if we say no sorry we don't want to trade you coz u got a contract with us and continue playing him like we did as a replacement for Glass,Emac then i wouldn't be surprised if we...
It looks like he won't stay after listening to pickering anyway WCE should definitely use the fact that is a contracted player and demand pick 13, Firstly after he returns try and convince him to stay or ask him to help us get a good deal by telling the saints that if WCE won't get a good deal...
Lake will be 31yrs old before next season and was going to be an unrestricted free agent next year on top of that they saved around 600,000 per year according to the sources, So at 32 and an un restricted free agent the year after Dogs would have got nothing for him compared to what they got for...
