As these things go we've got a decent run at the start of the season and it's important to get things going in the right way. The boys will need to up and ready to go right away because Sydney just have the ability to win games regardless of a lack of forward firepower.
Morton is the obviously...
I thought it looked a bit bizarre last week but then I was watching online so I thought it was just me then reading about it after the game..
As has been said though so long as the problem is solved come R1 v Swannies it really doesn't matter much
We didn't score anyway so my point still stands who knows the Final may have been the makings of him as an international scorer...seems we've been saying that for a while :D
You either need a striker who will score, or a striker that will play the sort of role that Viduka used to play of...
Carney wandering off he man was bad enough but the entire defence is out of position in the lead up to the goal..I hope they learn the lessons and we actually play strikers in the future not just 2 players who score goals from time to time because Cahill and Kewell are by trade midfielders...
Good man, I think he's still more than capable of doing a job at that level. I for one shall miss him even injured he was better than 75% of those around him.
I don't mind the idea of signing Dodd he's scored enough goals against us it's about time he scored some for us...the thing that is really pissing me off is the fact that Sage seems to have decided that Ferguson is going to be the man in charge next season despite doing **** all since taking over..
I rate Ben as a Quarterback but I mean there are some big name QB's that don't have Super Bowl rings (Fran Tarkenton, Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Dan Fouts, Warren Moon to name a few that I can think of) so I don't think a QB should be rated any higher or lower if his team hasn't gone all the way..
Back home after one of the most shambolic performances in recent times we've nothing to play for aside from the chance to stick it to Sydney and end any hopes they had of squeezing into the Top 6. That said I don't think we will win..a draw possibly
A win on Saturday will vindicate our move into the AFC and more importantly albeit only temporarily shut the detractors of our move up..
That said Japan has played some wonderful football and they're without Kagawa I really think we've got a very good chance. If Schwarzer continues his...
That would be the decent thing but I'm not so sure Ernie Merrick sees it like that.
I think it's a fair suspension I mean if Baird and Perez get banned for 2 matches for "diving" then I think 8 is fair for whatever it was Muscat was trying to do to Zahra..
Re: Super Bowl XLV: Pittsburgh Steelers vs Green Bay Packers
I just can't bring myself to get in behind the Steelers. I think they are the stronger team and if Polamalu and Bathroom Ben have good days out then the Pack is in serious trouble. That said I've enjoyed watching Green Bay this season...

I can't think of anything outside what's already been posted.
Qualifying for the Finals and positive news on Jim's health would be the 2 things highest on my wishlist for 2011.
Beat Collingwood on Queens Birthday would be pretty sweet as well. A win over here in the west should be taken as a...
Re: What are Your Favorite and Least Favorite NFL Uniforms?
My natural bias leads me toward the Baltimore uniforms. I've always liked the Raiders uniforms as well, Green Bay as well perhaps it appeals to the Australian in me :D
I'm not a big fan of Seattle's uniforms.
I don't like our chances tomorrow. Best thing is the total lack of Jamie Coyne, however that is tempered by the fact we've got to rely more and more on the players from the Youth team. Welly won't have Ifill which is a positive but I just don't see us getting the points. Though that hasn't...
Been to Adelaide a few times and I really like the place. Afterall it has places open after the sun goes down which is something that can't be said for Perth.. 24 hour sports bar in the middle of the city, T**ty bar just across the street and about 500 or so metres up the street is a 24 pancake...
I think it's an excellent notion, particularly with East Perth playing. Gives something to do on what is without question the most boring day of the year..
I don't mind it as a one off with the new facilities they've been building down there in Mandurah. I mean I remember when they played a State match out in Kalgoorlie, at least Rushton Park is a WAFL venue. And without showing too much disrespect to Queensland if it was SA or the Vics then it...
I think Claremont will be up again this season, it'll be interesting to see with Swans how they go without Krakouer and Brian Dawson but I'm expecting them to be contenders. East Freo should be about the place again, same with East Perth. South Fremantle can't be as bad again in 2011 and West...
It's difficult to know exactly how we'll go this season. Losing the leader of the club in Webster, a work horse like Pickering and a goal threat like McKinley it's a little like stepping into the unknown. We know that we have the best (if not then the 2nd best) coach in the state and that could...
I've just enrolled in Certificate IV Info Tech. I studied IT when I left high school but it was more software design and in the last 9 years I've been working in a library so have decided to go back and update my qualifications..I just applied and they let me in but to go to uni as mature age...
