Tends to go missing rather than admit his bad calls. I'm still waiting for him to come back to me about his Wayne Milera call from about 100 years ago.
I reckon that was an afterthought. They were all on the piss at provisional sign off and someone was lying on the couch looking at it and went "heeeeyyyy...."
We have other departments apart from the footy department. It's a very responsible corporate thing to ensure we are positioned well in a small market with a competitor which has made ground on us in the past few years.
The outlier is the raptor. There's a definite connection between the new one and the earlier swooping crow. I think the new home at thebby is a reasonable time to freshen up the brand.
They felt that, with the logo being a full crow, it was a bit redundant to have crows written underneath. Also, they were very strong with the connection to the city and state
I asked them last week if they were going to do this. They were a bit non committal but I got the feeling it was a no, although maybe just being cagey.
I get where you're coming from, although "special treatment" is a bit of a stretch. But yes, we do have an avenue to voice concerns that's not available to the normal fan.
My cast has always been a bit of a black sheep... we went hard at them during the camp even before the mainstream got into...
It's very much about connecting with fans. The club is South Australian and the majority of our supporter base is here. It's a brand statement to combat little brother down the road.
I saw the logo last week (the actual one not the leak). My first reaction was hmmm... but it has grown on me. I think most people will come around to liking it.
Funnily enough, the lad who looks like an absolute natural mid in Smilies team is Cody Anderson. Just knows where the drop of the ball is. Bit of Zac Taylor about him. A club could do worse than pick that kid up late imo.
Actually think Smith will be a solid but fairly vanilla player. The player I'm shocked has slipped out of the conversation is Smilie. Just feel like he almost prototype modern midfielder.
I'd be happier with Langford than Draper but from the conversations I've had recently I'm pretty sure we...
A lot of people saying we can improve Draper's kicking skills. I'm not so sure, it's a skill that's ingrained from a young age in terms of technique. I get a few Taranto vibes about Sid.
