Saint is a much better pick for mine.
Better run and has her double in R5 instead of R7. This means you can flip her after the bye to a premium with a double still coming.
My current starting team. Will consider adjusting Sherrif to a rookie and then moving a few things to allow Hodder to go to Hore. But starting to settle on this structure.
Did some work on projections and planned trades. Welcome any input anyone has.
This is my team after I do Williams and Sanders to Macrae and Garcia:
I've done some future planning of trades to map out the next few weeks and I think this is where I am out (projections largely based on...
It’s not a good look. But I think we don’t realise how often these things would happen behind closed doors. These players are insanely competitive and tensions will boil over.
It’s preferable that it would happen behind closed doors, but I think in his fifth game the club won’t care too much...
I'm pro-Meek, but it is risky and I'm doing it to enable three upgrades in the next two weeks.
Think for some teams I like Marshall a lot more. Meek pick has a lot of risk but a lot of upside. I'm happy to take the swing and have always liked Meek as a player and thought he might have been a...
Very young, I could have gone the early crow.
Thanks mate, no hard feelings, was just a bit of fun.
I posted a fair few detailed pieces of analysis in the pre-season with some of my strategy thoughts. Try and get in here as much as I can, but life is busy! Just tag me if you ever want some...
Was just curious considering you were book-marking people saying Gawn would fire.
It's only a game, just need to admit when you get one wrong!
Sadly finished sixth after the Libba concussion!
This screams a massive sideways trade and isn't the type of trade I'd want to be making (particularly after Rozee just went 152 and looks ace).
You lose money and don't gain any guaranteed extra points
If you're playing for leagues, fine to keep them. Otherwise, probably optimal to have none and maybe one for the mid-season byes. Just need to plan well and you will be fine through them.
I had one for the byes last year and it ended up being a pretty useless sideways.
I think it's actually the opposite, I don't think most teams have adjusted enough to them.
In AFL Fantasy they only have 50 trades total. So we are now at the point where SuperCoach is very similar to Fantasy from a trade perspective.
Gawn, Grundy and Flanders.
Trying to keep it as limited as possible. Really don't want to pick Taylor Adams, but he is probably the only other one in consideration after the news (but would probably rather a Sheldrick/James Jordon).
Edit: Should read the thread and add why. My view is that...
Echo this re Windsor. Not concerned about the kicking at all given it was his first AFL game against another team. He ticked all the boxes re positioning, athleticism and decision making.
I'll preface this whole post by saying that I've had one really good finish but I could have no idea what I am talking about. The below could all be a ramble, but hopefully someone gets something out of it.
The answer regarding Yeo probably goes pretty deeper into my team building philosophy...
Current team before the preseason games.
Imagine a lot will change based on the forward line, but will leave figuring that out until after preseason games. Praying Fisher is a viable pick.
My view is it will be Danger, Tom Atkins, Cam Guthrie, Tanner Bruhn and Max Holmes as the main guys. Then probably rotate a whole bunch through - Blicavs, Clark, MOC, Parfitt.
Guthrie will get the role, but just don't think he will score the 100/105 he needs to be worth it as a pick...
Agreed re the injury risk. I'm happy to take one of him or Fyfe with the extra trades. Will just be hoping Yeo can come out hot and put points on the field and make extra cash.
Plus, if his inevitable injury comes in R2, 3, 5 or 6, then his score shouldn't be too impactful with best 18.
Love the forward line structure. If those picks fire, you will outscore a lot of people there.
The only pick I dislike is Guthrie. I'd personally do Miller, Guthrie and Curtin out to Crouch, Nic Martin and a basement rookie in. Pains me to say it as a Geelong fan, but I just don't think...
Think it will probably affect Redman the most. I honestly think the accuracy of his disposal is overrated and so his appeal will be the burst run and the long kicking. Both of these things Martin does way better than him.
Ridley will continue to score I think through the intercepts. I also...
