Surely we don't enter 2025 without improving our KPD stocks. Makes me think we almost certainly will be packaging up at least a couple of our draft picks to move up the ladder and then draft Tomlinson.
Why AJ ahead of Kreuger? Wasn't it Kreuger getting games this year ahead of AJ?
Thought AJ had big potential from his 2023 season but he fell off a cliff in 2024.
Yeah lots of work to be done... Like the AFL asking them to hold off on lodging the trade so they can get some more clickbait in because there's nothing else interesting happening.
This just goes to show what a farce this whole trade period is. Over a week and barely any movements, all to happen on the final two days. Media spinning up whatever rubbish they can to fill in the time. Make it 3 days and get on with it. None of these trades require that much time to negotiate.
The deal is surely done and this is just the media trying to grab some attention before it goes through. Each of the 3 clubs have vested interest in getting it done. There are clear paths for how it gets done. Likely already agreed to last week. It's really not that hard.
Just hoping it gets...
Would take Hayes over Cox at this stage. Can play when he gets on the field. Has been unfortunate with injuries. If you can pick him up cheap he's worth the risk imo.
Don't remember when we were losing games this year not being able to exit our 50, with calls for Nick to go back to his old half back role?
That's where his impact will be. Has a mighty leg on him.
I don't think Trac has anywhere near the same mental issues Beams had.
In saying that, Beams' form in 2018 (career best and top 10 in brownlow) was at least on par with Trac and didn't have the injury issues Trac is currently facing.
I would still back Trac in to get over the mental and...
He's saying Collingwood enquired and were interested in him if it were a salary dump, like Bowes last year. Gold Coast said it wasn't, and wanted a first rounder for him. Collingwood no longer interested.
They both have cap space to fit him according to the tweet.
Quite easy to specify what the damage was when you're dealing with internal bleeding. Any time spent not receiving medical attention (especially when running around), is causing further blood loss. Blood loss which almost resulted in his death. There you go - damage specified.
Yes. Good luck finding a medical professional who will tell you that running around on the MCG with a ruptured spleen, punctured lung and internal bleeding ISN'T causing more damage.
