But will only take one of themHe mentioned Tomlinson as well
There you go strike him off the list then as well! CoD’s list suggests to me that Melican and McGovern are the only options and I can’t see a move for McGovern being realistic.Weitering just extended for 6 more.
Add Thomlinson and Membrey and 3 kids in the draft and it's a wrap - other than the delistees and who shifts from Senior to rookie list.He mentioned Tomlinson as well
Possibly room for two if we utilise the rookie list wisely.I doubt we'd be looking at Hayes and Membrey if we are intending to give Freddy a contract. However, if they don't look good, he's a chance.
And Tomlinson. Two experienced proven free bookends as necessary depth.Bringing in Membrey as a DFA would be the cherry on top of a great period
And youth.Don't need Robertson imo. We do need Tomlinson and one of Hayes or Membrey could even do all 3. I'd rather Hayes over Membrey for height.
Thought Leppa said we had one spot available?Don't need Robertson imo. We do need Tomlinson and one of Hayes or Membrey could even do all 3. I'd rather Hayes over Membrey for height.
You leave him alone you bully. He's a beautiful man with a beautiful heart
I assume this means as things stand and subject to changeThought Leppa said we had one spot available?
If Howe goes end of 2025 - I'd be making McGovern an offer - gives you another season or two of quality. There you go strike him off the list then as well! CoD’s list suggests to me that Melican and McGovern are the only options and I can’t see a move for McGovern being realistic.
He didn’t and we aren’t pursuing him, Leppa comfirmed.

Jamie Elliot to the list. Remove Cox... he's 2026 retirementTreloar payments stopping
Pendles retirement
Steele retirement
Cox retirement
Howe retirement
Don't think cap space will be an issue
I could be misinterpreting your comment Sco but Weitering re-signed for six years the other day. That would be nice, but the pool on them will be slim I think. I’ve got Weitering as the only option I certain of. Andrews was never a chance, but just re-signed anyway. The last three I can think of who qualify in terms of tenure are Buckley, McCartin and Melican, but I don’t know their contract statuses (it’s unlikely all three are OOC). I’d be more inclined to poach one by trade.
DGB would be OK as a punt.
Would wait for draft night to do that. Those mid 50's picks could all become mid 40 picks , which will look more valuable as trade assets.
Only have list spot for 1 of themDon't need Robertson imo. We do need Tomlinson and one of Hayes or Membrey could even do all 3. I'd rather Hayes over Membrey for height.
We don't, but this one of those wait and see situations where we need to assess the draft board and figure out the final position of our picks before we are able to figure out which draft pick to target.Do we have to wait until draft night to try to upgrade the picks?
Thought Leppa said we had one spot available?
CurrentlyOnly have list spot for 1 of them
