Come first hitout, you would expect that those who have put in during preseason would be choosen for the practice matches and then those who performed would be in the first game.
A good patch of VFL/training form for those who missed out on selection should be use to replace those who were...
I watched Matt K do that for Crippa last season (2024). I believe that Lord was also doing that in the games he played.
Something that I will be watching for.
ok just on the Kemp Forward move. Against WC he had a day out. But against StK (rnd24) he nullified Callum Wilkies influence. Wilkies was having career best games from Rnd 20 onwards. So to say he was pantsed is a little bit over the top.
Our entire side was pantsed by Brisbane (thanks MC).
This was what I saw as well. Young takes to much time to move the ball on but that is my main complaint on him. Otherwise, it looked like the penny had dropped for him in those last couple of games and that both he and Weitering were working as a team.
Dont disagree with you. Outside of mid rotation there is there is really only one other area that we need him in. HB we have more than enough plus more trying to start there. Wing is the same.
For me, if you are suggesting playing Jagga Rnd1 onwards then he needs to be played as a small forward, with stints as a mid late in the quarters when everyone else is tired.

That would leave a spot for a creative mid to deliver the...
Welcome Jagga, Navy Blue is our colour and it is one we wear with immense pride.
Know that you will have 100K + people backing you to the hilt every where you go.
Lou Richards, Sandy Roberts, Peter Landy - TV commentators
But the various Radio Commentators were even better. eg Tim Lane, Doug Heywood, Doug Bigelow
Jagga's ability to read where the ball will fall, his agility which makes him hard to tackle and his quickness in disposal would be a great delight to watch in the forward line. Would make him our best small forward.
