Bombers and Cats showing everyone how to do late picks... criminal that this draft is wrapping up this quickly.

Denied!

Pointless grabbing a backup when we've still got Kemp, JSOS, and now probably Duffy floating about.

Just loading up on mediocrity from the list of names that have been given.

What can I tell you? 2 have been invited to train on.

Kemp isn't a KPD. JSOS hasn't played there. Duffy is a long term project and likely a tall outside mid.

Grainger-Barras isn't a KPD either. We just need taller interceptors that aren't going to fold like a deck of cards in a 1v1.

We still need elite speed for the midfield. Duffy will likely start out of defence.

I don't like our SSP train on selections any more than you do. I don't want either Durdin or Baras. If we must choose a KPD backup, I'd just rather Phillips.

Has had Family tragedy wouldn't be a good thing for him to leave West will be a Eagles rookie
He’s close with Eddie, surely having him here in Melbourne would have a positive influence and be the right support!! I don’t know what’s happened tho so hope Malakai is okay

Duffy has speed and a massive tank, he will likely be trailed as a tall wingman like an Acres

I agree we need more speed, but I don't want purely quick, i want aggressive runners

Also agree we need KPDs, or at the very least upgrades, good step forward tonight, but I'd take Ethan Phillips and not pursue Durdin or DGB

Not all players would be in unison, every single week regarding selection and tactics

A loss or a poor phase doesn't mean either is substandard, nor does a winning streak suggest we have the perfect mix

We only need to reference 2024, you don't need to make radical change in selection or gameplan to change outcomes

Agreed, just hope it happens.

I would look to rookie Clancy Dennis to work along side Harry O
One to play the lock down the other to play the interceptor
Would love it too. I am one of Clancy’s biggest fans. Clearly recruiters have been put off by his injuries. Was of the opinion that time would heal all, but due diligence is required.

If long term has a decent prognosis, would love him added for two bites of the cherry rather than adding a speculative journeyman who may not get games. Kemp, Young and JSOS along with Haynes, surely give us enough depth while they develop. Other like Lemmey, O’Keeffe and even Duffy may be a shot in that area, so we are not bereft of options.

Pretty sure Jagga will get #7 as he wore it in his state games. I think O'Farrell wore #26 and that is free.

#16 for Ben is obvious. Maybe #21 for Lucas.

Certainly in the mix. Haynes needs a no. as well.
Marchy’s 22 locker beside Weiters may be an option for HO’F
