Opinion Are the Demons heading for finals or bottom 10 in 2025?

If they can get a good run with injuries & a fit & healthy Oliver back in the middle, I can’t see why they can’t finish in the bottom half of the 8.

    2025 Ladder Predictions

My Snakes & Ladders 2025 prediction 1/ Brisbane - NEUTRAL - minimum Top 4 2/ Sydney - FALL - Bottom 8 - 12th range, hard to recover from another poor GF showing. 3/ Geelong - FALL - with a kind fixture, a 5-8th finish looks very achievable. 4/ Port - FALL - Unfavourable fixture alongside an...

Who will be better in 2025 - Geelong or Hawthorn?

I’m all in on Freo, have the pieces in place to take them to the last Saturday of September.

Who will be better in 2025 - Geelong or Hawthorn?

The conversation would surely be more interesting if it involved Fremantle vs Hawthorn who should both be vying for Top 4 finishes. Geelong won’t get anywhere near them.

Preview 2024 Goodbye (To 2025) New; Preseason Discussion

Basing your forward line entries on contested marks is about as dumb as it gets. Hawkins & Cameron generated most of their goals from smart lead up work into space. Contested marks are Hail Mary’s in the NFL, they should only be used when you have no other choice.

Preview 2024 Goodbye (To 2025) New; Preseason Discussion

There’s a lot to like about Berry. I can see why the club were happy to trade up for him. It would be interesting to know where the club had him ranked amongst this years draft crop.

News Josh Lai - Line breaking Victorian speedster has medical and trains with Power with a view to SSP spot

All of Stewart, Kelly & Blicavs were outstanding selections. Picking up Stengle for a bag of chips was a masterstroke as well. Can’t stand the Cats, but hard not to like what they have achieved in the AFL area.

News Josh Lai - Line breaking Victorian speedster has medical and trains with Power with a view to SSP spot

Geelong have been excellent in nailing obscure left field picks over the years, hopefully we’ve found one in Lai & Moss.

Top 10 Current Port Players Based on Potential

1/ JHF - barring injuries & motivation, on track to become one of the best players in the competition. 2/ Butters - hasn’t reached his ceiling yet, already a star. 3/ Berry - there’s a lot to like about this kid, I rate him very highly. 4/ Evans - absolute gun, destined for AA honours, &...

    Player Watch Mid-Season Pick #13 (2021) - Jed McEntee

He won’t play a single AFL game next season. Whoever gave him a 2 year contract extension should be sacked on the spot.

    List Mgmt. 2024 AFL Draft

Unfortunately, when players come into the AFL with questionable disposal skills it normally sticks with them throughout their careers. Boak’s been in the system for nearly two decades & he still hit numerous Swans players on the chest in the PF, & this has been a recurring pattern throughout the...

    List Mgmt. 2024 AFL Draft

Jack Whitlock reminds me of Tim English but with a competitive edge. Joe Berry just oozes class, deep draft but he might end up being a steal at pick 15. I’m a bit meh on Moraes, think Lorenz will have a better career.

Whoever manages Richmond’s list should get a bo Didn’t the Bulldogs draft Busslinger (KPD) last year? With Scully delisted, Charlie to the V8s, Rat hopeless & Marshall one knock away from retirement, our next pick just has to be a KPF. Mind you, I’ve got high hopes on Xavier Walsh making an...

Selecting a KPF with our 1st means Marshall is probably cooked & confirming the Rat trade as a monumental disaster.

    Fixture 2025 Fixture

If the Fixture was a swimming race, Collingwood & Carlton were gifted 200 HP outboard motors while we were provided medieval armour & concrete boots. Only the AFL could get away with this in your face, shameless bias, what a shit league.

Player Watch Pick #5 (2006) - Travis Boak

Nothing like a PAFC feel good story to warm the hearts of the true believers. Another day, another terrible call by the club to add to the ever growing pile of bewildering decisions. An elite, professional organisation would have taken the decision out of Travs hands, we’re far from that.

If this is correct, I’m glad the club traded him. Why accomodate someone who clearly doesn’t want to be here & has the audacity to tell the club he has no intention of coming back. It sounds like his mind was made up a long time ago & his public declaration of club loyalty & affection was...
