Yeah and by that stage you are already 1500 point behind the #1 ranked player. If you are trying to win your grand final thats a great. But if your in it to try win the 50K or even just play for ranking then you HAVE to stack the midfield.

All i am saying is for people who are gambling on mid-priced players, forget it. not worth the drama. Stack the midfield with proven stars. Murphy & Beams the exception.... Take 3 stars in the defence and forward then pick your rookies wisely. Don't waste your time with the top 10 draft picks...

Hahaha no chance, fortunately i am in the top .03% and came in the top 500 last year, and i know the strategy. just trying to help some others. Tip: more midfielders you pick from rd 1 the better.

I have seen a lot of teams, and funnily enough have not seen one decent team. The absolute best strategy by far is the 'Guns & Rooks' strategy! This year with the new draftees being so expensive this type of strategy becomes very difficult to implement! Whats everyone else's approach?
