I just realised I haven't logged into this forum since I started my new job... in 2015... so I'm back... and tonight it's Queen's A Night at the Opera. Because it's sensational.

Cripps and Menzel were both rated far more highly
Menzel would have gone top ten if it weren't for the knee
Cripps would have gone top ten if he didn't choke at the combine and come last in the 4km
Boekhorst was a complete dark horse
That being said I'll wait a bit before writing him off...
I always think of Marc Bolan as a crying shame... cut down when he was on the cusp of doing something spectacular (or maybe I just like glam way too much)

The bats have left the belltower, the victims have been bled, red velvet lines the black box, bela lugosis dead...

Speaking of The Smiths...
Prior to today, ie in the first five rounds, Brisbane was behind 96% of the time during its games this season. We've just dramatically improved this stat for them, that's what I find damning...
Kruezer should be on the table. His foot is cactus. Not worth the risk of hoping he shakes off the injury monkey. Feel sorry for the bloke though, poor kid.
I thought the darkest days for our club were ten years ago when we had players like french, setanta, an out of shape whitnall etc.. but seems like I was wrong
I feel for SOS... at GWS he got free kicks from the AFL to build a semi decent list fast, and now people will expect more of the same...
Agree - we have been are s*** in the draft era, last two years has been better
Carlton recruitment strategy = drive to Adelaide. Fill car with best of 80s SANFL. Drive home.
Be fair, year before last was good ie Cripps was a bargain... doc and andrejs for virtually nothing. and menzel was a good move year before that, also paid unders..
