But the floors aren't remotely close either. Having said that I prefer the club to swing for the fences/premierships not just be good.

Just meant backs/defenders. I considered Trengrove the best key defender. Can't see Trengrove being a great forward mainly due to his kicking. Hopefully for Port, he proves me wrong. Dougal Howard probably won't be back playing AFL next year so that leaves pretty much no tall forward depth.
Actually, for Port, it would have been TOB+25 for Clurey. So it's an early/mid second round pick. Think that's slight overs.
We'll agree to disagree on TOB as unlikely to make it. He's not built to be the No 1 forward. As I said, he'd be good as a second/third forward next to a power forward...
Would someone please confirm (missed SEN this morning) that Sam had already set up the Eagles assistant's position prior to Clarko asking Sam whether Sam wanted to move his family over early.
Would have thought it would be better for Sam to go somewhere like the Swans to get outside the...
No worries. Essentially, it's TOB+ mid/late 2nd rd pick for Clurey. I see HAW having an excess of 2/3 tall forwards and Port have an excess of backmen (Jonas, DBJ, AUstin, Bonner, Clurey, Hombsch, Pittard without Trengrove, Hartlett, Broadbent and not counting Krakouer or O'Shea). Port also just...
This will never happen. Too many teams, too many players. Just a bit of fun. I won't go into why each team does the trade since it's already too long.
GCS: 8, 23 25, 29, JOM, Prestia, Sam Day for 3, 5, 10, 36, 38, 39, Barlow, Hrovat, K Stevens, Horlin-Smith, Jarryd Lyons
CAR: 5, 24, Zach...
Posted something similar earlier but refined
HAW: Hill, TOB, Litherland, 14 for JOM, 45
POR: Broadbent, 45 for TOB, 27.
FRE: 3, Barlow for 6, Hill, Litherland.
GCS: 6, JOM, 27 for 3, 14, Broadbent, Barlow.
POR: Get back into the second round of the draft. Lose Broadbent but have quite a bit...
Not meant as a necro just haven't logged in after Friday night. Think the problem is SPS not lasting until 6. Chance that Carlton take him - IMO they should take Todd Marshall as a KPF but you never know.
No doubt GCS prefer Schoenfeld. Just thought that with the injection of at least four...
Apologies for the intrusion. Was thinking about a good Hill trade. Instead, spent time not doing work. How does this look for an offseason?
FRE: Barlow, Langdon for 24, 27
COL: Oxley, 43 for Langdon COL probably needs to send some more to GCS.
GCS: 24, 27 for Barlow, Oxley, 43 - probably needs...
Short version around which more can be based:
HAW: 16, Hill, Litherland for JOM
FRE: 3, Barlow for 6, Hill, Litherland
GCS: 6, JOM for 3, 16, Barlow. 16 to be used for Jong, Broadbent, Hartlett, etc
In finals though, Hill seems to really step up. Unfortunately for him, in last year's GF he...
Not sure if that's a compliment or an insult.
Seems like a win-win-win for the GCS-FRE-HAW to base a trade around Brad Hill to FRE for GCS to get a pick swap with FRE which is essentially an extra top 5 pick (since it comes prior to Bowes bid)
Didn't think he would be in your age profile...
This gets said a lot. And somebody a couple of weeks ago pointed out the reality. The trade was Jed, 38, 40 for 15, 55. One way of looking at it is using the AFL draft points. So we gave up Jed + 465 + 429 for 1,112 + 207. That values Jed at about 425 points which is pick 40. One may not agree...
Apologies for the intrusion. How does something like this look for an offseason plan? Assume you get pick 6 for Prestia.
GCS: 6, 8, JOM for 3, 16, 45, Barlow, Hartlett, Broadbent
HAW: 16, Hill, Litherland, TOB for JOM
FRE: 3, Barlow for 6, Hill, Litherland
POR: Hartlett, Broadbent, 45 for TOB...
Thanks. Actually just a looong time lurker. Not even sure when I joined tbh. I would prefer that each club wins, but if no club loses, that's good enough.
Not sure what you mean by "GC choosing elsewhere at 3 and 4". But GC have plenty of picks to satisfy a bid for Bowes. From memory, they...
Assume that GCS get pick 6 from Richmond from Prestia. Also that there are two GCS academy players: Bowes is probably around pick 5 (and can definitely see Carlton nominating at that spot); and Scheer is anything from around 12-25.
HAW: Hill, Litherland, 16 for JOM. Would be great. Bargain...
