Nahh its done dealcaddy will be a tiger.
That is fine.
No need to involve Sydney in it though.
If Nankervis wants to be traded we will deal directly. We are taking it without lube in every deal otherwise!

Fairly sure that as Geelong traded out their 1st pick last year, they now have to use their picks and can not trade pick 36.Rich:
OUT: Vickery Compo (26), Deledio
IN: Nankervis, Caddy
Geel:
OUT: Caddy, pick 36.
In: Deledio, Toohey
Carl:
OUT: Toohey
IN: pick 26
SYD:
OUT: Nankervis
IN: pick 36
Not bad..Rich:

From my understanding it is they can't trade their future picks.Fairly sure that as Geelong traded out their 1st pick last year, they now have to use their picks and can not trade pick 36.

There 2nd this year is game on, would love to see a reference towards what you are saying.
I think thats saying, last year when they traded there future 1st they then were not allowed to trade, 2nd or lower.http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-08-06/future-trading-given-goahead-but-with-restrictions
Specifically:
- If a club trades a future first-round selection, it may not trade any other future selection from that same draft. But if a club keeps its future first-round selection, it can trade any of its future selections from other rounds.
Like everything the AFL put forward, very vague and open to interpretation. What do you guys think?
Ha nice. Yeah I couldn't decide if it meant that or if it meant that they now could not trade any picks from that draft at all as they had previously traded their 1st round pick last year.I think thats saying, last year when they traded there future 1st they then were not allowed to trade, 2nd or lower.
this year because they have not used 2 first round picks in 4 years (including this year) they are not allowed to trade future picks.
but they are allowed to trade there current picks, that just so happen to be those future picks from last year.
owww my brain hurts.
Think this means if a club trades its 2017 1st, no more 2017 picks can be traded. Flip side, you can trade everything from 2017 if you keep your first.http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-08-06/future-trading-given-goahead-but-with-restrictions

You could be right, i was sure but now i dont know.Ha nice. Yeah I couldn't decide if it meant that or if it meant that they now could not trade any picks from that draft at all as they had previously traded their 1st round pick last year.
I also thought I heard Stephen Wells on SEN this morning say that they can't trade this years picks (could be mistaken though).

Seems weird. Didn't Geelong trade their 2017 1st and 2nd.
You don't have to use all your picks though. So you can't go into the draft with Pick 104 if you don't have a list spot even though you're not going to use that pick?Depends how many list spots you have open.
alot of wasted energy McCarthy is a docker for pick 3This will never happen. Too many teams, too many players. Just a bit of fun. I won't go into why each team does the trade since it's already too long.

I don't think Hawks should use up any trade value that's not necessary. Clurey is who i'm talking about. Approximately what are we giving up for Clurey?
Read the post. might helpMCP?
Would only be giving TOB and late 2nd up for Trengove. Would be willing to do a straight swap of TOB for Clurey. I've never seen Clurey play though so i don't know how good he is.No worries. Essentially, it's TOB+ mid/late 2nd rd pick for Clurey. I see HAW having an excess of 2/3 tall forwards and Port have an excess of backmen (Jonas, DBJ, AUstin, Bonner, Clurey, Hombsch, Pittard without Trengrove, Hartlett, Broadbent and not counting Krakouer or O'Shea). Port also just got rid of Schulz and Butcher. TOB would fit in nicely next to Dixon, with Ryder and Westhoff rotating through. He's also a SA kid.
Looking at the Hawthorn list, in two years Gibson, Hodge, Burgoyne will likely be gone; Frawley, Stratton and Birchall will be 29-30; Doc will be 27. I'm not sold on Brand and Kurt. A straight swap of TOB for one of the young backmen might be on the cards.
