Yes there are some good signs, but as a group we have got ourselves into some bad habits and are working extremely hard to fix them and get out of them, our list contains players such as Andrew Last who is a gun CHF with an extremely high work rate, Jack Boston, Hayden Carthew-Zimmer both played...
Yes is a great pick up and fits in well with out existing roster, we also picked up Oliver Wetzler and Matt Boston but unfortunately both picked up long term injuries from our first game against Gympie which hasn’t helped
Just not good enough, to have a chance to win you need to play four good consistent quarters of footy. We won 2 quarters kept scoreless in one, 15 minute patch in the middle of the game is where they did the damage. Sadly we have a bit to work on with our consistency and decision making.
You have no idea what your talking about, the ladies team what an awesome win from them yesterday but I can tell you now that at least 9 of those girls hadn’t played at the club until this year and half of them had never played the game before so basically a new team that hasn’t even played...
Well Bushy you should go back through your messages, it was you on Saturday evening indicating to me that mad Monday next Monday would be for you guys my response was “not necessarily “ then when the news broke out Wednesday and yes I did messaged saying definitely mad Monday for you guys...
Questionable? No different to clubs using their own umpires in men’s ressies which happens every week, the president is a former AFLQ umpire and if they had their way he would still be on their books, pretty good calls it as he sees it and has sent our girls off in the past when deserved and...
Well there is talk of a salary cap to go hand in hand with the points I know that our club has been sent multiple surveys on what and if we spend anything on players dosnt necessarily have to be cash they are also looking to include free fees, free merchandise ect in a cap. Bloody nightmare if...
Apparently it’s going to happen but they are going to get all the clubs together for final discussions , 38 is roughly the figure they want but it could be more but not much more. There will be grounds for clubs to request more points ect. I don’t think it will be agreed to by the clubs I’ve...
No where near where it is now, I’m not bagging I’m just saying as an eg 15 odd blokes playing at one club for 3-5 years dosnt necessary mean value it just means it’s easier to fit under 38
Depending on which club it is Eg pinerivers as I’ve been told would be sitting on 24 points but are currently winless. Not sure if the remaining 12 points to spend would be enough for them to be competitive and win some games in 2020
On point Bunyip the umpires in third div have been disgusting all year, and the league want us to put in a report every week to give them feed back what’s the point when there is never any improvement or action taken . 3/4 of them don’t even train or are kept accountable But as paid individuals...
Almost correct.....Baeumler,Irwin both outstanding through out the whole game JR was solid as always along with Beau silvey. Luke Davies and Belly Nizigama outright superstars yesterday and should definitely be playing at a higher level but are definitely a must keep for the Roosters for 2020...
Not about trusting your information more about being concerned about our playing list mate and the effects the points system could have on our club as a whole. We have worked hard since 2017 to turn our club into a competitive unit and we don’t want go back to where we were before then.
But...
Just spoke to AFLQ since my last post they said no point system in concrete yet they are still looking at all clubs that are involved and looking at a middle ground to make everything fair for everyone so it could be 38 or it could be more but they did say it will have different clauses ect in...
