They completely embarrassed themselves… The ‘Real Club’ jibe on their instagram story was very funny too. Didn’t go unnoticed by the (victorious) two blues

Tigers v Lauderdale entertaining contest. Tigers midfield top group is quite impressive - Lovell, Cole, Campbell is a very nice trio. Tomkinson will cause a few issues. Launceston again look miles ahead of the rest. Clarence V Kingborough by 42 Lauderdale V North Launceston by 8 Launceston v...

Trying to work out COVID casualties from the team lists… bombers missing Magro and Bundy will hurt. Interested to see how Marlin gets on. Nh missing Dale, Quirk, Caswell, French i think?

You would think that the new ‘sub variant’ will cause a fair bit of chaos in the next 3 weeks then settle down again for a while, like New Years/Early Jan when it came in. You’d think (hope) the isolation rules will change soon enough too.

Tips R1 North Launceston v Glenorchy by 110 Launceston v North Hobart by 35 (be very interested to see where the Demons are at here) Lauderdale v Kingborough by 15 - without doubt game of the round, fair chance to head down and watch this. Also, thank god all games are being live streamed...

Not sure. They definitely had a more even spread and a few more top liners (Daly looks very fit) but I reckon Lauderdale had at least 8 best 22 players out… Hard to gauge.

Watched a half at NH, both missing a few of their best 22 no doubt, Lauderdale moreso with probably 4 of their best 6 top liners out. North up by about 4 goals but missed a bucketload of opportunites

You reckon? AFL players coming back to play in the TSL is exactly what it actually needs. Glenorchy will be shithouse, no doubt. Agree Launceston will be comfortably the best. But Kingborough and NH will be better, and they still won’t blow out North Launceston by that much. We’ve seen worse i...

I get what you are saying, the TSL with the current level of respect AFL Tasmania gives it is battling, but we cannot be a serious football state without a premier competition or rep side, it is a complete joke. The concept of the TSL is actually really solid, it’s just simply it is horrendously...

Fair enough. It’s a bit of a joke then that we’re 7 weeks on Saturday away from round 1 and the fixture isn’t public, but standard AFL Tas operating procedure i guess

Interesting that. I mean all for these kids playing footy if they’ve got the numbers 100% but that STJFL U18s comp has been run as a quasi TSL under 18s comp for the last 3 years. Be interesting to see how they go, no issues personally with that going ahead though

Not really. Heard much the same. Am surprised at how little is happening player wise - Glenorchy losing Joey to Aspley is another big blow, can understand Davies wanting to go to hutchins after 7 odd years at TSL level, gave Tigers good service. Only actual signing in the last two weeks was...

AFL Tasmania once again showing they're the shining beacon of honesty.... at a meeting in Feb it was conveyed to and agreed with all TSL clubs - seemingly to get them onside - that when the Devils had breaks they would re-integrate the kids into club land (barring injuries) and that this was...
