That's not true. The grand final sold out months ago and the remaining tickets only went on sale today, and they go on sale to the members first. Whatever isn't sold today goes to the public tomorrow, but IIRC them ever being any left over for the public in recent history.
Perth is plenty big enough to support an NRL team - population-wise and in terms of corporate support. And the city already has a long history with RL and a decent admin/junior base to build on.
Adelaide, however, the NRL could easily live without. (Sorry South Australians). Too small, not...
There is no issue with those players playing for NZ because they actually have NZ blood in them.
How much Australian blood does Tamou have? None. He's purely there for Origin. Thank goodness Kasiano didn't join him.
Channel 9's facebook page has been swamped with complaints http://www.facebook.com/Channel9?sk=wall.
Last I heard the TV guide was listed to be advised for GEM Friday night, but on their facebook page channel 9 have announced an "encore screening of The Farmer Wants A Wife - Australia from 7pm...

I don't see any logical reason why they wouldn't put it on Gem. 9's last point makes no sense since they put the Wallabies on Gem. They got 10k...
There was talk of Inglis joining the Olympic squad:

Inglis has guns for Olympic gold
By Mike Hurst

GREG Inglis is the best-moving sprinter in rugby league since the great Sharks centre Steve Rogers.
And, like...
Hang on a minute. Melbourne's breaches were $1.7 million over 5 years with $400k in 2009 and $700k in 2010.
That means that they were 600k over during 2006-2008, or 200k a year. This is a tiny amount compared to the overall cap and not unique when compared to other clubs breaches who were...
I'm writing an article on the market of first aid training and I'm just inquiring as to why Ambulance Victoria have withdrawn their first aid training services. Is it because of the financial situation? Limited market? I've tried ringing the number they've provided on their website but alas the...
People are constantly seeking self-validation.
To echo the sentiments of other posts we are moving closer to the societies of Brave New World, Fahreinheit 451 and 1984.
Yes I completely agree with this post.
Sharks >> Adelaide.
Manly want to make Sunshine Coast their 2nd home.
Eventually enough space in NSW to bring back the Bears.
Acually Melbourne were my 2nd team in the past. In fact I posted a thread here after the 2006 gf saying I would be happy to see them win the next one.
I just thought I'd point out what appears to be obvious to me in this thread.
Hated in NSW/ACT. Attitudes vary from hated to irrelevance in QLD. Not heard about in WA and SA. Viewed as inconsequential in its home state for all of the year except one week.
If Melbourne hadn't of been playing in 3 GFs over the past few years they would undoubtedly be the least liked...
Re: 2.6 Million watch AFL GF on 7
I wouldn't worry about that. The TV ratings can only be accurate when compared on a very specific basis to other TV ratings, not really as a figure for how many actually watched the game.
Last year:
AFL GRAND FINAL GEELONG V PORT ADELAIDE Ten 2,572,000...
This was the first year I've been a member. It was $55 GA for 6 games at WIN and 3 away games at ANZ this year.
I've definately attended alot more games than any other year.
NRL clubs are only just realising what AFL clubs have been doing for the past 2 decades.
SUCK ON IT MELBOURNE. This is the single greatest moment in NRL finals history.
Also, it has a few implications.
In the short term, I was thinking that could any side now stop Melbourne after loosing like that? Surely they wont let it happen again. But now Melbourne has to play a Wayne...
Here's the full list:
Player of the Year - Matt Orford (Manly)
Fullback - Billy Slater (Storm): Slater has been one of the NRL’s most electrifying players this year, with his outstanding form earning him selection in the Australian Team for the Centenary Test against New Zealand.
Winger -...
