Thanks mate. Really appreciate the kind words. I'm a huge footy fan in general so nice to branch out and share my passion of football first carlton 2nd. Hoping for a big year for my blue boys, long overdue.
Look forward to seeing your boys though, great to see them get the flag well deserved
Blue Bagger here in peace (also hope I don't breach the rules by posting)
Put together a little preview for your year! And wish you the best for 2025!
Hope to see you all in the chat as we spend 2025 covering all the afl
Hope to challenge you guys this year
Enjoy the year
Yeah loads of nuances at play, so gonna be a fun one to cover I assume as I've spent 5 years slating clubs doing it and now I'm going to have to cross the floor and go it's the best system ever, viva la system
Yeah deficit can be your friend! I made this that is part of my anaylsis that starts after xmas for Draftees, but this is the ladder order based on the consensus of bookies for 2025, So if you want to play with examples imagine Cody is 2025, And then Add 2026 and 2027 in your mind as Pick...
Also add the points to match change from 20% to 10%
I.e 3000 in 2024 becomes 2400 on today's system
In 2025 onwards to march its 3000 becomes 2700
You CAN go into defiect as if you win the flag the following year i.e they allocate you a debt of pick 18 36,54,72 which currently is 1723
as of...
Thanks mate, Big Fan of him, but im also liking Szekely, Taj Campbell-Farrell, Jack Hutchinson too! IF you had to pick someone attribute based i.e quick, decisive strong etc within the realms of plausibility (MSD and all) what you looking for? and everyone else
What are the options for JSOS gutting ACL injury!
Is it a SSP from away or from the VFL Blues?
Is it a undrafted kid?
or is it closer to home?
We take a look!
Let me know your thoughts! and speedy recovery Jack!
Last chance to see the boys before the new year! Here is my report from the day!

My understanding from a list manager when I queried last year why dogs had 3 (I knew GWS got special dispensation) and the others he said it's 44 and you'd effectively have 1 less rookie A (unless long term injury) so it's 44 as normal.
My understanding as to why this occurs is it's off books...
It did indeed but also I presented players handbook and the AFL media kit for 2023 trade and draft that clearly stated 3 cat Bs and another screenshot of multiple clubs with 3 cat Bs, and then the age article with quotes from the AFL and the scouts both Irish boys were cat B and also Essendon...
This is the one I cannot answer!
Essendon listed two Irish players, but reading the age article I posted that had the director of Irish football and the AFL scouts this is a recognised pathway for Irish players and saints Collingwood and us will basically run our own camps as a NGA substitute...
Thank you mate. It's something I fell victim of when I first fell on love with the game just taking the media discourse. But same with the NGA etc the rules they push aren't the actual rules. Seen media outlets suggest you can pick and mix your picks etc to match bids but it falls numerical...
But the 3 Cat B rule has existed since the first list amendment in covid times
Pies
Lions
GWS
Dogs
Gold coast
Freo and list goes on have all exercised
Have to fall in the category and not max our rookie A but effectively they pre-empted (which has happened this far) an shallower draft pool due...
