Finals are different gravy so I feel you can't lean on head to head results too much. Good example is the Giants this year. 2-0 in H&A but they were leading for most of the match in a finals game and really should've won.
We should've beat Port by 4 goals last year if we want to go down that...
It's a tough matchup regardless of who won, either a side we have not beaten in 8 years or playing of the inform team of the comp since the bye.
If we bring our best alongside contest and pressure we win.
Port we're fantastic on being able to take the hawks game away from them. We've been vulnerable when teams have done that against us so we got to get our run and carry game going.
Phil Davis on SEN said today that the giants performance on the weekend was the best they've played since opening round in his opinion. Hard to oppose with that they were brutal.
1340, Marinoff C but Tarni Evans, Prespakis and Ham were poor will all scoring under 50. They'll most likely be my tradeouts. Bringing D'Arcy in from Watson was a positive though.
Will the prelim be on friday or saturday? I was thinking the AFL would opt to have the cats mcg prelim on friday night, but have heard others say cause we finished first we can get friday night.
Callan Ward's goal late was a bit of a blessing in disguise because we had Papley, Heeney and Grundy on the bench with the ball at the wrong side of the ground. Then able to reset and the rest is history.
