With no Adams, Sier and Tyler the cupboard is pretty bare.

    Coach Buckley steps down

Absolute legend of the club and game! I don’t think you will find a bloke more dedicated to try and get the most out of himself and his team. Loves this footy club and wanted what’s best for it. Was literally a kick or two away as a player and coach from the ultimate, a flag! He deserved it more...

Yer more often than not he plays it safe. Would be interesting to see how many turnovers have led directly to goals. I can clearly remember in the North and Sydney game where Noble turned it over leading to direct goals (there have been more but can’t remember specifics). While Crisp isn’t great...

That’s fine, as I said just my opinion. You guys see it a different way. Time will tell I guess.

Called the eye test mate, as I said the stats look great for Noble. IQ has a long way to go but if you can’t see that he currently is and will be the better player then I don’t know what to say. Bigger, cleaner, less mistakes and a much higher ceiling in my opinion.

Yer Dwyer probably had more skill but clearly had his deficiencies lack of pace etc. Noble is younger than Dwyer when he came to the club so should have more development, he could end up in the same basket when and if we find a better alternative. Or he could overcome his weaknesses and turn it...

Fair enough, each to their own! Just my opinion. I hope he proves me wrong but has a long way to go.

I have watched every game, he accumulates a lot of the ball so stats look good on paper. Under pressure generally makes critical mistakes and in the back half it has cost us goals. looks like a boy against men out there. He’s not a good one on one defender, he is quick but rarely breaks the...

    Preview Changes & Pre-match Discussion - BIG FREEZE 7 - Round 13 vs. Melbourne, SCG Mon 14/06 @ 3:20pm

Murphy may be slower, but from what I have seen he is much more courageous, neater skills, no team killing mistakes and has a bit of size. Quaynor provides run and so can crisp when he’s back there. Noble as harsh it sounds is a battler, gives 110% but lacks skill, footy IQ and makes game...

Jamie missed way more footy and came back and kicked 6. Obviously they are different players but if fit cox has to play forward and rotate in the ruck with Cameron, Gawn will still dominate but Lynch will get absolutely eaten alive. To the poster who says it to early for Johnson, why? He has...

    Preview Changes & Pre-match Discussion - BIG FREEZE 7 - Round 13 vs. Melbourne, SCG Mon 14/06 @ 3:20pm

Out: Madgen, Rantall, Noble, Lynch In: Brown (into the 22), Johnson, Mcreery, Cox Madgen is not up to it. Noble gets a pass from many but makes critical mistakes and is not damaging by foot he is not the type of player who should be automatically picked, would shift Murphy to the back flank in...

Toast Round 12 = Collingwood vs Adelaide 78-73

This a horrible take! I’m not saying we played like world beaters but it’s clear as day we kept our defence tight while playing a more attacking game tonight. I honestly thought we got the balance between defence and attack a lot better than previous weeks. Adelaide have been playing good footy...

    Preview Changes & Pre-match Discussion - Round 12 vs. Adelaide, AO Sat 05/06 @ 4:35pm

I don’t mind the changes. Lynch is meh but we are at the bottom of the barrel. Madgen should definitely be out though, offers absolutely nothing, is 28, cannot play a role like Mayne and it’s not like he’s experienced. Baffling the match committee continually gift him games. He was like usual...

    List Mgmt. 2021 Mid-Season Draft

Mate don’t get to carried away, Noble may be a permanent fixture in our team but he would not be getting a game at any other club apart from North where his Dad is coach. Has a go and would never question his endeavour but he’s average at best.

    Autopsy Round 11 = Collingwood 51-61 Geelong

It wasn’t great display by any stretch. Though I’m not sure what people expect, we had 7 players under 22 to Geelongs 1! Obviously they were missing some quality but so were we. They were in control all day and the scoreboard flattered us in the end. However, our set shot inaccuracy really...

Game Day Cats v Pies: SATURDAY 1.45 pm May 29 AEDT at the MCG (CV19 Impacted)

Mate you can peg it all on him if you like. What do some of these players get paid to do?? Kick a ball lol and they can’t hit basic skills or nail basic shots. I’m not saying bucks gets no blame but to let the players get off scott free is an absolute joke

Game Day Cats v Pies: SATURDAY 1.45 pm May 29 AEDT at the MCG (CV19 Impacted)

Keep solely blaming the game plan when the players skills are absolutely deplorable. 1 goal 14 our list has a severe lack of skill and talent

Game Day Cats v Pies: SATURDAY 1.45 pm May 29 AEDT at the MCG (CV19 Impacted)

You can do all the skills sessions you like, you can alter the game plan. Simple fact is we severely lacking talent and skill. 1 goal 11 in three qrts. More than half of them get table in a low scoring game. Biancos first game and he’s already done more with the ball than half these guys have...

    Preview Changes & Pre-match Discussion - Round 11 vs. Geelong, MCG Sat 29/05 @ 1:45pm

Great too see Bianco debut! Sier gets another chance, surely he plays with a bit more urgency with his career at the club going forward not looking great. Has the talent but don’t know how much he wants it. Madgen should definitely not be in this team, offers no more than Keane who needs...

List Mgmt. Trade and F/A - Part 3

Kicked two quick ones manned by Crozier who would be lucky to be 6’ 1. Weideman wasn’t great. In saying that he would be a better key forward option than anything we have but let’s face it, that’s not hard.

No doubt but as mentioned none of those are kpp players a lot harder to find good ones outside the top end of the draft

    List Mgmt. 2021 Mid-Season Draft

I have nothing against the kid and hope he makes it. Pavlich is one example of it working out. Countless examples over the years where it goes the other way. The recruiters have much more of an idea than us, so if they opt for Callow they/he will have my full support.

    List Mgmt. 2021 Mid-Season Draft

I want the club to take Stengle! He is exactly what we need. Bit of X factor to spark up the forward line. We are the most risk adverse club I can think of on and of the field, I just wish the club backs itself in and has some balls for once. It’s the mid season draft, he is arguably the best...

    Preview Changes & Pre-match Discussion - Round 11 vs. Geelong, MCG Sat 29/05 @ 1:45pm

Ins: Murphy, Bianco, Elliot Outs: Noble, Cal Brown, Thomas Longshot on Jamie I know, but we really need another option forward of the ball. Noble gets the ball and has a crack but that’s it, should not be a lock every week along with cal and JT. Tempted to bring Cox for Cameron but don’t think...

Autopsy Round 10 = Collingwood 58-59 Port Adelaide

Deserved to win that, but currently don’t have the class or cattle to get it done! A much improved performance compared to previous weeks, really shows the importance of Tay Adams. Defence was great held up really well all day, hats off to Roughy played a great game. The kids were great and are...
