We must be watching different Nobles.I have watched every game, he accumulates a lot of the ball so stats look good on paper. Under pressure generally makes critical mistakes and in the back half it has cost us goals.
looks like a boy against men out there. He’s not a good one on one defender, he is quick but rarely breaks the lines.
He should not be guaranteed a game each week and definitely wouldn’t be getting a game for many other sides. There are obviously players who deserve to be dropped before him but cannot understand how he’s a lock in this team and think with the development of youngsters he will eventually get pushed out of the side.
I think he’s breaking lines this season more than last but I tend to agree.I have watched every game, he accumulates a lot of the ball so stats look good on paper. Under pressure generally makes critical mistakes and in the back half it has cost us goals.

Rupe wasn't a small fella. What he didn't possess in natural footy skills he certainly was a stopper when he needed to be.Pardon?
I love Noble's endeavour - he really looks like he's in the right mindset. Just fluffs his kicks too often, that's all. A wee bit more composure needed, but that's experience and fine-tuning I guess. We must be watching different Nobles.
Great energy, courage and run. He has done well and belongsbo in our best 22 at this stage.
In: McCreery & Cox
Out: Rantall & Lynch
Madgen lucky to hold his spot due to noone else able to replace him.
I'd push Murphy up to the wing to replace Rantall, hes more suited there than at Half Forward. Lynch will get monstored by Gawns ability to get around the ground, although Cameron will have to do a lot more rucking and have a close to 50/50 split with Cox.

SCG,
Short ground we need to win the ball out of the guts more than ever.
Maynard into the Guts may help.
Sam Dwyer type, so I don’t disagree with what you’re saying. I think John’s a better player than Sam was so think it will take longer for a better alternative to present itself, but agree that I think his limitations will curtail him from being a 150 gamer.I have watched every game, he accumulates a lot of the ball so stats look good on paper. Fair enough, each to their own! Just my opinion. I hope he proves me wrong but has a long way to go.We must be watching different Nobles.

Yes and have players that can.We will be Destroyed out of the Middle.
Our Only Hope we can Rove to Gawn's Taps
Yer Dwyer probably had more skill but clearly had his deficiencies lack of pace etc. Noble is younger than Dwyer when he came to the club so should have more development, he could end up in the same basket when and if we find a better alternative. Or he could overcome his weaknesses and turn it aroundSam Dwyer type, so I don’t disagree with what you’re saying. Called the eye test mate, as I said the stats look great for Noble. IQ has a long way to go but if you can’t see that he currently is and will be the better player then I don’t know what to say. Bigger, cleaner, less mistakes and a much higher ceiling in my opinion.do yourself a favour and go to footywire and compare Noble and IQ's season stats.
Virtually identical.

How can you watch Noble play this year and possibly come to this conclusion. Wasn't his best game on the weekend but he's had a really good season.
Agree 100%, Noble has had a really really good year, he is at risk of turning it over more than some players because he is prepared to run and create with the footy, although I don't think he has been that bad, for me Crisp has coughed it up a hell of a lot more, be interesting to see the comparison.
Who else is there to take his place and perform his role? He has his deficiencies, but he is far from the first player I would be seeking to omit from the team.I have watched every game, he accumulates a lot of the ball so stats look good on paper. That’s fine, as I said just my opinion. You guys see it a different way. Time will tell I guess.I think as many here have pointed out you’re on the wrong track with criticism of Noble.
If the stats between IQ and Noble are almost indiscernible it gives objectivity to the argument.
And that’s is not to say Noble has the same long term upside as IQ.
