Yeah I got that impression too.
After the "incident" Glass' tackles on Hall definitely had a bit of extra bite to them. Instead of just grabbing him and holding him as he usually does, Glass would tend to add an extra push or shove - like in the second quarter when Glass caught Hall holding...
What an absolute d1ck.
Gary would have pigged out, then in the fleeting instances that his mouth wasn't full of crap, he'd have mumbled something about feeling very vulnerable, probably get the 1kg handicap, Michelle (the trainer) would have come down on him like a ton of bricks, he'd have a...
I think they'll have to get more than 1 flag. It will probably be a thing where there is a heap of them they have to collect within a certain amount of time and the team with the most wins. Just a guess though.
I really don't see why Nicole would sabotage her own group? There is no benefit...
Yeah saw that, WTF???
I'm sure it must have been taken out of context. Nicole would have to know that if the reds were to go to an elimination her head is well and truly on the chopping block.
All true!
I just don't like the red team!:D
However, they have lost 2 more weigh-ins than the blue team and had won just as many challenges, yet until last night had two more members. The only thing they were beating the blues at was giving in to temptation. To me their success is deceptive...
Don't know about that one? I thought the same thing but then if it was Nicole who voted for Nicola then she was voting against her only potential ally on the red team. Cosi would have voted for Sam. Gary is the most likely person to have voted for Nicola - mainly because it was a dumb and...
Spot on!
I think that is the worst part of the whole mess. Not even a week ago he was given the opportunity to sacrifice himself for the good for the team and he refused. Now they've had to get rid of him anyway and Sean, someone who really deserves a spot in the house, has also gone - all...
:D:thumbsu:
This whole thing is ridiculous and reeks of the AFL trying to cover the fact that the whole NAB comp is simply not taken seriously by anyone - except, it would seem, the NAB and by extension the AFL.
Roos is right, these games shouldn't be open to betting. What's next - a market...
I quite like John but I do agree with what you're saying.
Even more ludicrous was what he was actually baulking at. I mean it's one thing to say, "no I'm not doing that" if it will somehow impede you or put you at some kind of disadvantage. Hell, even if it was just a minor annoyance for him...
The difference is that Roos is suspected of losing deliberately from having part of a conversation being overheard in one glorified scratch match to gain nothing of any value.
Carlton is suspected of losing deliberately from the fact that their coach was given the thumbs up despite not having...
True, but it is frustrating as a viewer to watch one team putting in so much effort to play as a team while getting kicked in the balls by the producers, yet the less deserving team gets constant leg ups just because they have or had "colourful personalities".
Frankly, I find more...
If I was the blue team though I'd be flipping the Biggest Loser gods the ol' bird. For a total of 1 loss at the weigh-in (supposedly the most important part of the game) they have lost 3 team members - Sean, Debbie and Sam.
The red team have lost 3 team members also, but gained Sam from the...
That's for sure, I think Sunday night was the first time I saw Michael talk about his brother with our breaking down.
It's true though, I think he may have been taking it more seriously than what Sheridan was, just from some of his comments as opposed to hers.
That was one of the things...
I think it was just a bit of fun while they were in the house.
Be interesting to see how Michael reacts tonight when he finds out the news.
I wasn't really liking that development anyway. It would have turned into another Rob & Amber (from Survivor) relationship.
Sounds like it'd the perfect job for him. If Kyle Sandilands, John Laws and Alan Jones are the "kings of radio" then Cosi is but a lightweight, if you'll excuse the pun ;)
:thumbsu:
Sheridan may have been a pain in the arse and a bit immature (I did agree a lot with what Cosi said about her in an earlier episode) but at least she took the final vote with grace and didn't mutter personal insults to match Cosi's.
The weird thing is that Cosi had first pick of team...
The red team are a joke. They are the strongest yet still can't get their shit together, all they do as a group is bicker and squabble like housewives. No unity.
I'll bet Sam prays every day that somehow the Biggest Loser gods will see to it that he is sent back to the blue team.
Funny, I was thinking the exact same thing last night when Gary was blathering on about wanting double figures. Then in the same breath he says he hadn't put in as much of an effort this week (despite downing 91 Jaffas in one sitting).
What really pisses me off is that the blue team have won...
Yeah, it is a horribly written and the breaks in the plot-line gets so frustrating that in the end you just throw the book at the wall in disgust.
Now don't get me wrong, I don't mind the odd cliffhanger but here it is systematically used, then used again in the next chapter on an entirely...
Impressive stuff :thumbsu:
That weight loss is extraordinary but it wouldn't surprise me if somewhere down the line Sean is re-introduced into the white house. That would help to explain the huge percentage he has lost as compared to the other competitors who've left the house.
Either...
This show seems to get more and more uninteresting as it progresses.
The plot revolves around some half assed who dunnit, against a backdrop of characters who you couldn't give a stuff about (except for the main character, but that's basically because I still think of him as Nate Fisher)...
Thought this thread deserved a bump.
Awesome show!
Seriously couldn't stop laughing when Waldo worked out what Scroto's prime motivation was.
Why can't we have more supervillains of this calibre?
Between him and Gary sooking about their brother/father at every weigh in and interview I'd be surprised if even the women aren't rolling their eyes (or at least asking them if they want to try on a dress!)
Seriously, they've been in the house for what, a whole 4 weeks! Toughen the **** up!
:thumbsu:
The moment Sheridan pulled out her watch with the calorie counter on it I said to my wife "It's like she's still in primary school" - then Cosi goes on to say the exact same thing.
As for Gary, it's telling when he's the biggest guy there and still only ranked at 6th or 7th as...
Enough of the Sam bashing.
The kid is cool. He likes a practical joke and I get a chuckle out of some of his hi-jinks.
As far as Sam screwing up, Gary would have eaten that much even if he was the only one going at it. He then found a convenient excuse in Sam - as if he held his mouth...
