Afternoon Coaches and Happy Finals week. Best of luck to all 🫡
Went into this round thinking I'd have a punt on Peatling, given his recent numbers and the probability he keeps a spot in light of his contract situation.
However, that leaves me a lot in the bank (last trade) and I could go up...
Scored 120 and 93 with Rankine though as well (Rankine's last two pre-suspension). Might explain some of the output last two without him though. Scraping the barrel a bit really in that line
Evening all.
Anyone across what's behind the transformation in Ben Keays scoring? Even putting aside the 158 this round he had a 3 rd ave of 112 beforehand. Has shown scoring potential in right role previously and with a dearth of FWDs and 1% POD status, I'm considering.
Thoughts coaches?
Yeah, I've got a few knocking about but those I am running on ground are still fattening and scoring at a decent enough clip/in a line where they are useful.
JHF only in the conversation because I'd need to access enough cash to get to Rowell. $183K in the bank takes others off the table and...
This is a pretty fair analysis I think.
Full disclosure, Martin owner from round 1 and held (very close to selling round 2) but given the volume of junk i.e. not horrible not elite + opportunity cost of Scott fielding him in alternative roles where he can add value I'm not sure the role will...
Fair play. I'm probably a bit more risk-adverse and weighing up the risk of him being subbed/injured/just going missing again. I can see a spike game at some stage and reasonable chance he can land that plane against the Hawks. Good luck mate
Morning all. Looping quandry.
On the 'a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush' principle I'm going to take Windsor's 56. Nothing spectacular but don't mind the points of the board when looking at the rookie dregs. Can loop with either Jhye Clark or Mannagh.
Clark got his 13 Rd1 but...
Ooft. 2,700 projection faded hard to 2,323. Painful to watch. Topped the league but the boys will be in action next week.
Embarrassing noob question from a bloke that has played a few seasons but can I see how many trades my opponent has or is that not visible? If I can, would be grateful for...
Evening Folks.
Three trades remaining with both Ashcroft and the Riddler to deal with.
Bit of cash in bank so Ashcroft -> Libba is an easy call.
As for Ridley, there are an array of options:
1) Redman. Why? Last time Ridley missed out he cashed in with a 136 and would reserve some cash for...
Sinclair or Houston? Massively conflicted and somewhat lured by the PODness of Houston. Similar price and average, both with huge ceilings and the occasional low score. Was planning to kick the can down the road a week but can DPP a maxxed out Van Rooyen and it probably swings a H2H at the top...
I like it. Overall assessment of bye performance. After a horrific round 12 I recovered somewhat (1703, 2060, 1976, 2117) but only for an average of 1964. Well done to you both :clapping:
2117, happy days. Only ranked 23K so should see a decent bump. Have seen a few higher posted here but given the tendency to post higher scores (and the comparatively very low scores I have seen in the leagues I am entered in) I am guessing that is about top 5%?
Yeah, I can understand that. At 16 trades remaining I feel like I can spare 1 or 2 for 'bridge' trades, as long as I expect them to build some cash and get pts on ground (which his bye would help with). Not sold yet though. More thinking to do 🤔
Cash is a tempter for sure, but I think I'll ride the bye and keep the faith a little longer. If you can keep him a little while 3 of next 5 at Gabba and he goes well with home comforts and should be an easy move to the fallen premo of your choice
Evening all. Any juice in Stengle at $280K do we think? After a horrific start to the season and injury he has returned and shown some form. At a discount of approx $150K versus starting price. Granted not likely a finishing player but I am open to an interim that can add some cash and be a...
I hear you, though part of my reasoning for going with a POD is the potential upside of it breaking in my favour when a similarly valued/ceiling player owned by a much higher % of coaches performs less well, gets injured, etc.
The alternative I could do is swing Ziebell back, chuck a DPP...
Cheers for the reply Evo. Alas I started with Sic so am already eating that $ leakage.
I guess the way I would look at is that the downturn last year is reflected in the price reduction and that he has the capability to exceed that performance, as shown over a number of seasons. Role change...
Morning Coaches. Long time lurker, first time poster...
Given L Jones feeble 53 I am looking to move Saad. I am already holding Day and need some points on ground.
Pencilled in Jake Lloyd and just curious why such little love for him? Am I missing something? Given his gull history seems like...
