    Beams

I would definitely take Beams over Zaha...however you spell his name. Beams is averaging almost 20 possessions a game and has been fairly consistent against Melbourne and Geelong. Plus with B. Johnson out long term it looks like his position is fairly safe for a while. He is also good at...

Could this guys team really work?

This team was interesting but I didn't really think it was anything "special'. The general rule of thumb I have seen on these boards is that you can expect to pickup 8 or 9 "gun" players (i.e. over the $500-550K range) which would cost you $4.5 -5 mill (or more in this case). I count nine...

    Round 3 Captain Selection....

Assessing my options I think: Cox - too risky versus Sandilands Cross - got a lot of garbage pts against Melb..won't get this week J Brown - Likely will be double & triple teamed by Sydney H Shaw - Good option vs Richmond but for some reason has bad record against this team L Hayes - been a...

    Brennan...

Had Brennan on my team last year and he drove me nuts with his inconsistency. This change of position seems to have changed things but I think Monfries still has a lot of upside ahead of him. Would have a hard look at Monfries this weekend to see how he performs before making the trade.

    Herald Sun Super Coach 2007

Its a very good team but not sure that it's as strong as you suggest. The backline is the real question mark - find it hard to believe that Brennan is going to deliver every week. Coupled with Kosi and Riggio...hmmm. I might be in the minority but don't think Clement will produce many...

    What Is A Cash Cow?

To expand the BCG analogy further, you could say players can be divided into four groups: CASH COWS: Low Price/High Likelihood of improvement STARS: High Price/High Likelihood of improvement DOGS: High Price/Low Likelihood of improvement QUESTION MARKS: Low Price/Low Likelihood of improvement...
