If that's what you want to think, go right ahead... I tried to limit my time on the program as it tended to crash, corrupt my files and generally cause me all kinds of headaches. I'm not much of a computer geek.
Controversy is always going to surround simmers of these kind of things but I find...
Haha this was a while ago. Fair crack, some of the suggestions were a bit off - but the intent to improve the competition was there.
I don't think I was ever ready to admin a league like this - my organisational skills are nothing short of horrid, even more so when I was 15.
Was tossing up between two.
One hasn't been mentioned thus far, so I'll hold off.
The other is sure to be snapped up and I'm very keen on completing the trial-real deal double.
Tom Cutler
I think of him as playing a similar position to Dylan Grimes for the Tigers, but with much more...
Knew I'd forget a couple. Conlon's in the top-end of the middle pack for me, and Jake Kolodjashnij and Nankervis are two more KPB's I'd be thinking about late.
I have McCarthy, Boyd and Giles high - Gardiner, McStay, Hourigan and Harvey somewhere in the middle and could have my arm twisted into taking any of Brown, Apeness, Fort, Tickner, Thorp and King either very late or in the rookie draft.
Very interested to see which of those guys fall and where.
If you're not checking it out already - the BF Official Mock Draft is up and going and the debate/discussion is better than ever.
Great read for those who want to soak up a variety of perspectives on the draft.
Can't say I agree with that approach.
You've picked a random draft and said that lots of drafts are similar without actually finding any evidence to back it up.
Here's the 20's in 2009:
2 20 Nathan Fyfe Claremont WAFL Fremantle
2 21 Ryan Bastinac Dandenong Stingrays TAC Cup North Melbourne...
We seem to be very much on the same page.
JKH isn't in my top 60 - don't think he's able to play as a small forward at the next level - he's far and away more dangerous as a permanent midfielder - but I don't think he quite makes the grade as a midfielder at the next level. If I'm drafting a...
Pick #12 - Richmond - Christian Salem - 183 cm/81 kg midfielder - 15/7/95 - Sandringham/Vic Metro
Anyone who has followed my thoughts on the draft this year will know I have Salem really high up my rankings - anyone who has seen me in phantoms knows I keep picking him for the Tigers. I don't...
Really enjoying the discussion guys.
Love that someone had the cajones to pick Sheed in the top 10 - he more than belongs in that sort of company. I myself would be seriously considering him anywhere from pick 3 onwards.
Don't think I could overlook Scharenberg if I was GWS given I'm not as...
#4 - Western Bulldogs - James Aish - 184 cm/75 kg (midfielder) - Norwood/SA
Aish was the face of the 2013 draft pool probably all the way up until February this year, when a big, strong and imposing power forward named Tom Boyd took centre stage. Although he seems to have fallen a bit out of...
Would be rapt to see him go, but it's not like there's an absence of sub 180 cm inside midfielders this year. Heavyside's agility and ability to be able to be dangerous in a forward pocket might mean that he has enough weapons to be looked at; but his injury concerns and the fact he tends to...
I lived in Tas the year Mav got pre-listed by GC, so probably saw more of him than most, but even then - injuries meant I wouldn't have seen him more than 5 times live before he was drafted.
Contested bull who seemed to have lots of time at junior level and in the TSL, but that never quite...
Did you leave out Cam Giles or not rate him top 43?
Interesting list. It's very subjective after the first few. I have quite a few in the same range you do.
Will release my mock in the next week or two.
