I dont know about you guys, but i think the teams that we play twice are the most difficult of the three bands.
Hawthorn - by far and away have been the best side for 2 years, I know sydney got them in one game but still have been top notch. We have also played them twice for the last 3 years...
I think Sam Ried will be an elite KPP in the future, he has all the attributes, strong mark, fit, fast. His kicking is letting him down at the moment, but if you think Ben was any better when he started as a forward then you have a very short memory.
We definately need someone to partner...
lets be honest, COLA is a joke. The clubs feed the plays about 2 meals a day anyway, so they are only spending their cash on houses and investments, only a small portion on necessities
I think witts has been servicable at best. I think Bellchambers is and will be a better player. He can actually jump in the ruck contests and is a lot more agile and offers a bit more at ground level.
I do think Witts has what it takes to be a good ruckman, but not until 2015/2016.
because witts isnt ready yet and wont be ready for atleast another 2-3 seasons. At the end of this season we will only have Grundy and Witts on the list as rucks, Are you prepared for that to be the ruck combo from next year onwards?
Definately, at 24 years of age still young enough to be around for a while. Would probably need to add a player to that too, throw in Kyle Martin maybe
Forget Jesse White, I think we should be going hard after Bellchambers. I am not sure of his current contract status but thought he was out of contract at the end of the year. I think he is a special talent, can jump, can mark and can kick goals.
Witts just isnt there yet, he is worth...
i wouldnt get too excited about seeing Ben Broomhead debut this week, I would think he is just an emergency considering we have the sunday game and instead name an extended bench.
I was looking through to see who he would push out of the side and it is hard to find someone whos place he would...
Here is my view,
During the first half we were as good as anyone and if we continued to play like that we would have one the game.
I do have a few observations:
1. There was once incident that stuck in my mind to think that we are not completely on here. It was Heath Shaw when he threw...
My fondest memory was in his first season still in the number 15.
We were playing West Coast at the G. Pendles road the bump from Darren Glass (i think) and then went on and slotted the goal.
Thanks when I knew that we had a player on our hands.
I think its clear to see that our forward structures are currently not working. We have employed the same tactics that almost cost us the 2010 premiership against the saints. We are just sitting the ball on top of Clokes head and expecting him to do all the work. We are playing into the hands of...
Re: 4. Rick Ladson
does any one know how rick is shaping up this preseason? i am keen to take rick in my SC team, but only want to take guys who are good to go from round 1. so, is he good to go? will he play NAB cup?
this is another article from the herald sun who actually havent spoken to anyone involved
"Neither North Melbourne chairman James Bradshaw nor chief executive Eugene Arocca could be reached this afternoon."
lets not forget this one
"Neither Buckley nor manager Craig Kelly could be reached for...
players like cloke need to play CHB on a quality CHF (eg riewoldt) in order to learn how much hard running/work is needed to deliver the perormances required of a premiership CHF.
