Depends on What the Club think they can get the Best out of White or Not.

Swans have done that with other Players. So Maybe we can do this with White

because witts isnt ready yet and wont be ready for atleast another 2-3 seasons. At the end of this season we will only have Grundy and Witts on the list as rucks, Are you prepared for that to be the ruck combo from next year onwards?

Paying premium currency for a dominant key forward is better than paying any currency for a depth guy. Why clog the list with a depth guy when you can add a Ben Brown as a rookie who will give you the same thing at no cost.

I'd make sure we get the no.1 pick. Ben Reid. Steele Sidebottom. Jarrod Witts. I'd move any of them individually on for that no.1 overall selection. Or in the case of Witts with a first round selection.

Bellchambers would be a great get.

Theres no way I'd trade any of Reid or Sidebottom however for pick 1 when Reid looks like becoming a gun key forward.

Nobody would want to pay a premium for White, well.. ummm, except for Freo perhaps. I think the attraction with him is he should come cheap. He is somebody who hasn't quite lived up to his potential, but could improve in the right team to be more than just a depth guy. He has shown that he has talent.

I like the idea of Ben Brown, I'm more interested in this type of player than adding another no1 ruck. I think we gain more than we lose by adding a mobile ruck type given we what we already have in the ruck.

One thing is for certain - we would not be able to satisfy Sheeds in a trade for the no1 pick, it would take more than any one of the 3 guys you listed.

I think we should give him a miss. White is 25 years of age, played 64 games since 2008, averages 9 disposals a game, averages 3 marks a game and averages 1 goal a game. Thats a no from me.
