    LVFL - 2011 PRE Season

Great stuff Yabba. Even Robbo at the Herald Sun embellishes at times, but in the end its his opinion. That what BigFooty is about... opinions (and rumours, jibes alluding to a lack of prowess? ha ha)... Agree that Miti are on the slide.... the 2011 cup is between Bridgewater and YCW for mine.

    1. talking about Kyneton being shit 2. referencing the abbatoir 3. starting sentences with "I had a mate once..." 4. Referencing BenFL on a Bendigo thread, beacuse u don't want to confuse yourself with BalFL & your beloved "Sunba" My sidey-senses are telling me Kings Army never left...

Well Disco... Bridgewater 13.14.92 were DEFEATED by YCW 15.9.99 That's 8 in a row for the Eagles. defeating Bridgewater at home is great news for the competition! Mixes it up a bit!!:thumbsu::thumbsu: Fair to say the YCW Ball tonight will be rocking :D

    LVFL - 2011 PRE Season

I love your tunnel visioned opinion and loyalty to Hill, but I think you'll be disappointed when they finish 3rd yet again. Interesting to see PHill and Bridgey reserves are rubbish this year. They'll need to keep their senior side fit, that's for sure. YCW look to have the best all-round...

    LVFL - 2011 PRE Season

I reckon Serp could surprise Bridgewater a bit. To be honest, I actually think all games have the potential to be close. Pyramid are capable but I think are downhill skiers, rely on too few... their games against Bridgey and YCW are what I'm referring to. Who knows what Marong and...

    LVFL - 2011 PRE Season

fair point Clew... only problem I have with the above is that I would seriously doubt any player at Inglewood would be worth money elsewhere. G Abbott loved forking out cash for spuds. He now works at McCains in Ballarat, yes?

    LVFL - 2011 PRE Season

Great result for Serp on the weekend ... mixes the competition up a bit. YCW look to be hitting their straps ... Gard, Cronin, Doc O'Connell playing 2's and a few to come back from injuries

    Central Highlands Part 3

Heard a story over the weekend that Baker took his 2011 Hepburn playing fee in advance, then jumped ship to Bridgewater. Top bloke

    LVFL - 2011 PRE Season

Matt stagg's best mate so possible. Injury prone, probably won't train during the week, just sit in the square... oh, and he won't come cheap. Good for PH overall, means Davies can play further out from goal permanently

Re: LVFL - Part 3 hmm, yeah ok, whatever. See you commented about Alex Galea (FROM SOUTH) on the Bendigo thread yesterday... so that makes, what... 98% of your posts about South Bendigo??....and the other 2% about Bridgey - incidentally when all the South Boys went there... and you're not a...

Re: LVFL - Part 3 going on your past posts, you're probably one of the aforementioned 'south boys' or a south supporter or both.... so do tell... how is their recruiting / retaining going?

Re: LVFL - Part 3 At the start of 2009 (you may remember the back page article in the Addy Mark "I'll have another Flipper please" Adamson announced Davies was staying at Square)... then the next day Davies did the backflip and went to Mounts for $1500 a game as Ass Coach (money well spent...

Re: LVFL - Part 3 Hmmm, bagging his former club (that he won awards at, no less) says a lot about a blokes character. But it's cool, we all know what yr like, you just keep confirming it. How about u just concentrate on getting a kick for NthBgo magoos ... now get back to counting...

    LVFL - 2011 PRE Season

Re: LVFL - Part 3 Think you might be right after what I heard over the weekend... couple of big names and a few others who will go well in LVFL seniors are in the mix to go to YCW, who have had a massive recruiting season and not done yet. also heard Mitiamo picked up a few decent BFL 2's...

agree Albury... w/ yr Sandhurst analogy that is. They are no hope for top3 finish, let alone a flag in their 150th year (unless Snake is set to unveil a heap of big names which I doubt) so may as well build for 2012/13.

    Bendigo FL Thread 2010

Toss of the coin. Maryborough hittin some form and Hurst being less than impressive over the last month. Duescher and Holmes playin well for Bombers so wont expect them back. 2010 is over for everyone except Square and South anyway, so pretty boring really.

    Bendigo FL Thread 2010

I think if you play 8 (or 9?) senior games, you can't play reserves finals ...unless your senior side is also playing In general, you have to play 5 games to qualify for finals

not embarressed at all, that was in 2008 when I was watching my son at Sandhurst ... circumstances were well documented...you had noone and desperately wanted anyone to play and I was trying to help out... so firstly ...you're baggin your own club secondly... my comment was in response to all...

ha ha - what about "South Bridgewater"... and their turnover...and buying a premiership... and p*ssing off locals 2010 season - 17 transferred out, 24 in... seven from South Bendigo and all on the payroll

Lodden Valley Football League Part 2

lookin at the draw, there's every possibility that ycw could win the next 5 if there list is back to full strength. and that makes them 9-5 with 2 rounds to go. Miti and Bridgy ;) good test before finals that's for sure. on other news, keen to hear from NFClew. Much more competitive against...

    Bendigo FL Thread 2010

pretty sure Weeks is not on the Bombers list. Duescher for mine. While we're on that, Hurst may struggle in the finals as the Bombers look like making the 8. Once they get there, the 12-10 rule applies. Duescher and Holmes would be in for sure you'd reckon, along with Bristow and Stroobants

    Bendigo FL Thread 2010

ha ha! as Homer Simpson once said, "It's funny 'cos it's true!" Square look like this year is a foregone conclusion, holes appearing in the Burra armour, south getting a run on, maddern kicks 12 against his home town side and Hurst just can't seem to take the next step
