Said it before and will say it again......
THE MAN LOST HIS TIPPING JOB ON BEYOND THE BOUNDARY.....
......TO A DOG.
Would not listen to anything he says....
Although on another note I say we start a game on, making up the most insane trade...that benefits Carlton....feed it to him and see...
I remember being at a game against Collingwood and I stood up having a go at some player...
Anyway this guy sitting there with his young kid (Collingwood supporters) says "Yeah well when was the last time you guys played in a final?"
I answered 2001.
He said "My son here wasn't even born then...
The day they got rid of the Roar Meter, the PlayStation challenge at halftime and the day when I was too old to play in the Little League was the day my childhood ended.
That dark, sad cloud hangs over me to this very day.
What about an updated Roar Meter...
Everyone makes noise, hits the...
Another reason why I'm not much of one for watching GF's is that, dare I say it and be shot by the AFL secret police for speaking ill of the GF, but for every good GF we've had there's been 3 that have been terrible games that have been over by half time.
Some of them showcased some terrible...
Never really one for watching GF's....most of them have been built up and having been terrible games.
Grand Final day is the best day of the ski season (conditions permitting of course), no-body goes up to the snow. Have the whole slopes to yourself. That's what I used to do.
Spending GF this...
Wow...so Donkey Kong actually is based on a real person....
Excuse me why I go and re-evaluate my life....
Bigger and better than the Pies? Already accomplished....*points to 1980 Cup*
In all seriousness we are based on continued and substantial amount of growth per year, still about 4-5...
Melbourne's culture worries me. Not only have the admitted to tanking without any real feeling of much that devalues the game, but their attempts at reviving their club with the return of Jim Stynes and his attempt at bringing pride back to the club failed miserably.
Sure they might have been...
Okay so if the body resets itself, as you agree. Doesn't that mean that the "value during training that accelerates the whole preseason" is lost?
I'm quite sure you barely understand the concept..and really can't be bothered argueing anymore.
I just prefer Van City for it's close proximity to some seriously epic resorts. Pacific pow, rolling in in a couple of months....get excited!!!
Winnipeg is going to be r*ped this season by everyone...haven't signed anyone yet to actually takem them seriously.
Yeah it's pretty expensive...
What if anything does that sentence mean?
It gave more benefit:confused:. You train at altitude; puts the body under more stress than at sea level, you can't train for as long, you can't train at as high an intensity. It takes months of training at altitude for a real benefit in terms of...
TO's a pretty sweet place, probably 2nd best city behind Vancouver in Canada,...but that still isn't a good enough reason. Being a Leaf's fan is like only a step up from being a Sens or Flames fan.

Clearly you've never been to altitude. I work at about 2000-2500, doing hard manual labour. I'm a fit guy but you can't work for more than 10 mins without stopping to catch your breath.
According to your theory I should be, after about 6 months AFL elite fit:rolleyes:
You can't train for...
Clearly Sanchez knew this would happen when he kicked that winning goal a couple of years back...
Y'all gotta give him a little more credit....;);)
"IN SANCHEZ WE TRUST"
103 metres isn't going to cut it. There's suburbs in Melbourne with a higher altitude just about.
Altitude training works by the body compensating for the lower concentration of oxygen by the liver and kidneys increasing the output of the hormone EPO, which increases the output of red blood...
Totally agree I think the thing with Jackson, and really with everyone on our list is asking the question, 2-3 years down the track are they guys that will be an asset?
I look at Jackson and say no. I think by now, we should be able to expect more from him, his FA was atrocious and hurt us...
Love him in a high performance position. Not really sure IMO that he'd be all that interested in Brisbane's offer of a director of coaching. I'd just reckon he'd want to step away from the limelight for a while.
Of that list I wouldn't be as harsh on Hyde. He might not have been the most skilled player on our list, but he gave 100% which is a lot more than almost the entirety of the list was giving back then. Tough too, those concussions he got....
We could.....some are better than others. My fave doesn't even have anything to do with a player or team...just sung at the coppers.
We paid for your hats,
We paid for your haaats,
What a waste in council tax,
We paid for your hats..
In my defence it is a really, really nice hoodie. And using the logic that I haven't bought any clothes for the last 2 years then the hoodie wasn't that expensive....if you average out.
Also it proved to be a good investment.
Yeah I really would move out of this house if it wasn't for how cheap...
60 Hours.
Can't sleep on planes, trains or in airports. Missed a flight which set off a chain reaction.
Was brutal, I can remember going through passport at Sydney and taking 3 attempts and the help of the guy behind the desk to fill in the card. Hand and brain just no longer worked together.
So a couple of weeks back I spent probably a little bit too much on this hoodie. It's a pretty nice hoodie but I was also trying to get into the girl's pants who worked at the shop, so I looked at as more of an investment.
Anyway so I buy it, come home and the bag's on the kitchen table while I...
This argument of "well Hall has that flag" is kind of stupid.
Because according to that argument Cam Mooney is one of the greatest forwards of the last 2 decades.
