Finally a worthy post.
Hate for the sake of fact is just about as boring as it gets.
Umps give points at the end of each game and even a degenerate Hawks nuffy can do the sums at the close of round 22.
I was amazed at the differential too.
Geesh, Freo are only one win better than the Dees and now they are favs to beat the Saints in Melb?
I hope Freo win too.
I was and the boys had been drinking since lunch. Fraser, Lawrence and co.
The CCTV footage was clear.
Vossy was disappointing that night. He is a father of 3 kids and should be mature enough to have not even been involved let alone to perpetuate an argument over a pool table.
When did...
Got 20 votes alone from about Round 12 in 2007.
He stands out because he's 6'4" and runs around the midfield and that's handy to get the umpires' attention. The guy is a genuine superstar of the AFL.
He deserved both medals and for those that were disappointed in that result, then you will...
Is that old man Staker talking?
BTW, I think you'll find it should be "flamin' weak mongrel".
STK have no tikker and Ross even admitted as much after the Brisbane flogging. There is no way they will challenge Hall. The Saints wouldn't hit water if they fell out if a boat.
If the players that disappoint you outnumber the players that excite you on the list, then you're probably not maintaining an acceptable list.
Are Choco's tactics poor, probably not. Are players executing or are they able to execute the plan...doubtful (or just "no").
He looks like a man...
Yes you're right, old Dwayno has lost the plot on air and might need to find a new vocation.
As for the other, even the ones who were once good have deteriorated in quality. Buckley has been a stand out...it's his first year.
Williams - Is 2008 The End?
Port's close losses are starting to smell like the last year of Rocket Eade in Sydney ala 2002.
His message is not working, his injuries, depth and selection are under scrutiny, nay, they are failing.
Should Choco go with dignity and if so, who is his logical...
Those losses are very hard to take. Here's a bit more medicine though, WCE are not playing well and there's little use denying it.
In 2002, Rodney Eade's Sydney team lost 5 of their first 12 games by less than 12 points. Eade was sacked mid season despite the honourable losses and Lockett...
Re: Adam Goodes offered a reprimand
You are joking aren't you? Sniper? The guy is unfairly niggled into submission. WCE does not have the man power to stop Goodes fairly so they spend the first quarter scragging like amateurs.
As for WCE, Hunter the Hero is world class niggler, scragger...
Re: Adam Goodes offered a reprimand
If the ball is locked into the attacking 50, then a free kick almost always comes out of it when the pressure is on and fatigue levels high.
If the ball had been in the WCE 50, the opposite result would have been likely with Sydney leaving empty handed...
By the sounds of it, the Eagles are left with just Kerr and Cox which reminds me of an old Keka yarn about he and Barry Cable taking Barry's car down to Kardinia while the rest of the team took the bus.
The bus broke down and then of course the Umps were about to call a forfeit but Keka had...
