Meh. I don't think a few seconds of highlights in India would be worth much. And even if the AFL coverage did get picked up, it would probably be on a premium channel, the Indian Setanta equivalent.
Actually, I'd like to know how many people have pay TV subscriptions in India. But thanks for providing two numbers that have absolutely no relevance whatsoever.
The ordinary Chinese person lives in a one bedroom flat with this wife, mother-in-law and five kids and his life sucks. Think about how many Australians have cable; even in this relatively rich country, not many people have it.
A-League clubs don't have a big tradition of travelling, so ~36000 in a neutral city for a game between the two smallest clubs, in a league that's three years old, that's still pretty good.
I'm not nearly smart enough to be a troll.
To be fair, that was a game between the two smallest clubs, and it was held in a neutral city.
Well, it just so happens that "soccer" is a very, very big part of the international.

Soccer's actually pretty big in India, just doesn't get much exposure. They get huge crowds sometimes. East Bengal-Mohun Bagan gets up to 120,000.

Wrong. They're the ninth-oldest club still in existence, the seventeenth-oldest ever, and they definitely did not invent Australian football. In fact, if the game played today was fundamentally the same as the game played 150 years ago, I'd be extremely surprised.
There ya go. Combines Melbourne's shirt with the colours of the old Tasmania SoO team.
Here's another, with gold cuffs and collar instead of maroon:
