"Consistency" is a tough one to ask for. If an umpire makes a clear mistake in the first quarter, and then realises this, do you want him to make that same errant call all game?
I think all we can ask for is a mindset to be as anonymous as possible. This means, not looking to influence games...
All in all, Im not too disappointed with this loss because:
1.
The opportunity was there for us to win the game. We didn't take it. This is better than being totally outplayed, and not being in the game at all. This loss is fixable.
2.
It re-ignites the hunger. It shows a young team that...
This.
Hopefully by the end of the year our midfielders streaming towards goal will be able to choose from two or three options confidently, instead of instinctively looking to Lecras.
I think more confidence leads to more first option football, which can only be a good thing.
Short term...
Re: PSD- Jacky & Hutchings ????
Was injured for a lot of the year, and will without a doubt attract attention from a lot of clubs. But the fact he declined a prelisting with GC suggests he only wants to be one place, Perth. This is confirmed by many people close to Jarrad.
Re: PSD- Jacky & Hutchings ????
Jarrad Blight or Bust.
Was very highly rated by a lot of people at Collingwood but was VERY homesick.
He is exactly the type of player we need - kid could become anything

Smith and Polec will both be ready for AFL next year. Solid contributions playing SANFL already.
I honestly think that the only reason a lot of people aren't considering them both for pick 4 is because nobody else on BF has suggested it.
I would be extremely happy with either of the SA boys; Polec or Smith
My personal preference is Smith. Has the ability to win the hard ball, his first few steps are lightning, has the ability to shrug tackles and is a good kick.
Polec is a little bit more polished and outside, his left...
If Sandi's injury does keep him out longer than expected (believe me, I hope it doesn't, he is good Leeming boy :p), do you think that he should be played in the same role he has been this year?
Or split his time 50% in the ruck and 50% in the goal square. The tactic of playing him on the...
I'd be happy for Shuey to permanently stay in the forward pocket for the rest of this year for two reasons:
1.
He can actually kick a goal. We get the ball inside 50 enough to be dangerous, we just can never keep the ball there and build forward pressure. Shuey would suit this role
2...
I have a clue "champ".
Now don't get me wrong, I do rate Hams as a player, but you are delusional if you think he will "undoubtedly be one of the best in the AFL next year".
A mature aged rookie who has played 2 good games as a forward pocket will "undoubtedly" be one of the best in the...
I think the future success of this kid is contingent on whether he realizes that he isn't built like a 12 year old girl any more.
Once he puts his body on the line, he has all the attributes to succeed.
I feel I will be outnumbered here, but I am glad Stevenson is out.
The first time I saw him squib a contest I thought it was a one off because he was young.
But he has continued to do it week in, week out, and people on here seem to be so quick to defend him and talk him up.
Perhaps it...
