I'd be cheering to see Nicoski go, but very disappointed if Wilson went. He is the only key forward this year apart from Kennedy to show that he might be able to play a key forward role. Extremely annoyed if Wilson goes and any one of Lynch, Hansen and McKinley stays, contract or no contract.

Surely if Wilson goes that would be a very clear sign WC are looking to take a KPF early in the draft who they expect could slot into the side reasonably quickly.

Even if they see Brown as the future they wouldn't put all of their eggs in that basket.... I hope.

Brown was totally hopeless as a forward this year, couldn't even get near the ball let alone kick goals. What causes them to think he would be any better in the future? Wilson actually showed something. You reckon they've locked in Darling at pick 4 or Day if he is available.

He showed a lot at CHF in his first game, when he was actually getting decent delivery from the midfield. I say fix that problem first, with someone like Atley at pick 4.

That was a long time ago, pre recon, and Kennedy is a much better prospect at CHF. Agree about the midfield but you have to work with what you've got.

Yes it's pretty heartbreaking we won't get 1 of the best 2 WA kids (exluding Matera etc) or Day who could be even better than Pav.

I've seen very, very little of him but I could imagine him being Wells-like.

Is the close to the mark or way off? Anyone know?

Wells is more consistent! Truly. I think Bennell is more talented though.

There's plenty in love with him and his talent is undoubted, but I've seen 5+ games of him this year and did 1 thing to impress me in that whole time. A right footed goal from the left forward pocket at the southern end of Peel's ground. Has a beautiful kick, just don't see enough of it. The consensus is he'll improve under an AFL training regime.

Players to watch in the Sharks v Royals match:

For GOEAGLES - Hooligan is running around, also watch for A Fasolo, Cripps, Brennan and Monteath.

McKinley and JON are in for the Royals, also watch Sweet and Prior.

In the Swans v Tigers game watch out for Notte. That is all.

Only kidding. Notte, Hansen for the Swans and Swift, Stevenson, Neates, Wilkes, Broome (named on an extended bench) for the tiges.

Others to watch are Garlett, if he plays, Luke Adams, Mitchell, Ninyette.

Hope everyone enjoys their fathers day!:thumbsu::)

So on a scale of "maybe" to "not in a million years", what chance do you give Broome of actually playing for the seniors?

I would have given him half a chance, because with Cones out they have Richardson and Ninyette as true, natural goalkickers, so he could have been a good variety. However, I see he's named in the reserves list on Sporting Pulse so I'll say not in a million!:D:)
