Caught up with Max and David afterwards. Legends indeed.
Weather was very hot indeed for the footy legends. Also a real mongrel for the main event the next day -> blew my 10k time by 10 minutes! Normally you measure times in seconds.

I'll be up there slugging it out - will keep an eye out for them. *However* from memory I think the Footy players only do a 'dash' type tri (300m swim, 5-10k bike & 2-3k run) - man oh man my mum could belt that one in. Any other AFL teams sending players??

BTW: CatDog -> what's the...
Will go up in my reckoning if he takes his turn through the VFL when recovering from injury....*unlike* SK.
Play fit (ie a few niggles are ok) but don't play as a cripple.
Surely the Bulldogs game plan will be very similar to the Lions in the Semi (NAB Cup). Lots of run, bomb from 55-45 m. I think the game will be won an lost on midfield pressure on the bulldogs and keeping them out of that killing zone. Our defenders should do ok from closer in (ie. spoiling...
Interestingly enough.... Justin Murphy was:
975th player for Richmond
1100th for Blues
976th for Cats &
1050th for Bombers
Will he be the first to play for all teams??

PS the numbers were made up ....but you get the gist
The worst in terms of playing ability: D Clarke
The worst, all attributes considered: Acker.
Of course the breakdown is something like
50 Ability
35 Personal Attributes
5 Hair Style
10 Teamsmen ship
Clarkey gets 51 points (1 point for ability), Acker manages 49...
No doubt the saints are good. The weakness is possibly Thomas. He really should have been able to exploit some of StKildas strengths against the Cats today. The 2nd Q showed that there were some combinations that were working. BomerT matched the moves and Thomas failed to respond. What did...
...especially if it means
Week one -> V Port Adelaide at AAMI
Week two -> V Team from lower 8 in Melb
Week three -> V Brisbane at the Gabba
The team that finishes in 3rd after R22 is finished.

Ready or not, every team that starts the finals, with a reasonable draw, needs to make the most. I certainly don't believe in acceptable losses so we can 'set ourselves up' for 2005. Strewth, there are too many power clubs having an off year in 2004 for anyone aim low now. If the cats get a...
PA are the biggest threat to a top 4 finish. We still need to win our own games (ie not drop games against the pies etc) but PA have a very hard draw to end the season.
My prediction is for Cats, PA and Dees to end up on 15 wins a-piece. The Dees have a vast % gap that we cannot close...
Sure bring back C7....only if eddy comes with the package. Otherwise it would destroy my fav hobby....listening to Eddy call Collingwood losses..........Gotta love hearing Eddys voice on the point of breaking,

While I don't codone what apparently happened at KP, I think it;s worth trying to understand the average Cat supporter. 1989 followed a horror run that begun in 1964. From 1989-1997 we had numerous chances for some sucess and failed at each stage. FFS, in the 1989 finals series the U19 lost...
Stk (18 wins)
BL (16 Wins)
Melb (15 Wins)
Geel (15Wins)
---------------------
PA (15 wins)
Ess (13 Wins)
Freo (12 Wins)
SS (12 Wins)
The Cats to make up the 6% difference by winning 2 more games than PA on the run home.
Biggest game: PA V Melb @ FP. - a win to the Dees, will see...
I might be biased, but anyway.....
I viewed all 3 with great detail and I was most impressed by Bartels, based on his size running back, Reiwolt would have known it would be almost impossible to stop him (ie, had to get damaged). Sampi....dime a dozen (..actually really liked it).
Bartel...
....
I rather like the idea of Freo Vs WesternBulldogs at the MCG for ANZAC day. Just think about it, you could drive right up to the gates, park anywhere, sit anywhere, take the family (damn it ...take the whole street!!!). There would be more officials than spectatators,

Re: Re: Excuse me aren't you forgetting something?
Sorry, still have to disagree. This is the same as any management task. You cannot let one task get out of control while smiling at the ones you do have under control. Is it possible that the off field talent have pushed the finances too...
Excuse me aren't you forgetting something?
er.......Debit free financially....but I think the shareholders (members) expect a little ROI. I'll take my dividend in the form of being able to hold my head up and say (proudly) I'm a Cats Supporter and not get riduculed for it.
Get It On (the...
