This is a great outcome for the Carlton Football Club. Fev has been a super player but was going to leave regardless, so to get Henderson and pick 12 is more than I expected. So very happy about this trade.

Along the same lines, I won Josh Kennedy's first ever signed Carlton jumper and next thing I know he's gone to the eagles. Not sure how much value it would have been down the track but it's worth nothing now.

All depends on where we finish on the ladder as to our draw but I think we have a good chance to win our first 2 finals. Week 1 v hawks, dons or lions. Week 2 v dogs, pies, cats or saints (as we have beaten 3 of them and ran saints to 9 points). Anything could happen come final time.

It wouldn't have made any difference where we played that game, Freo out played us and even though we didn't kick straight we didn't deserve to win it. Freo also had to travel further than we did so that shouldn't have been an issue.
