Re: Old Scholars - Part 2
Hey Madmug, Rumours are that cox has been training the house down over at Clarence. Finds it hard sometimes to get over to training because he doesn't have a car at the minute. Apparently a couple of the senior players pick him up and drop him off.
Trains with...
Look out second half of next year????? Didn't he get 18 months Butcherboy? Wouldn't of thought he would be kicking the sherrin around too much next year...

I reckon your 100% correct DosaChoker. Sad that they let Bryce O Garey & Jade Hodge walk... Especially Bryce who is a local Glenorchy boy. Dissapointing
JS#35 after reading all your posts, its obvious that you grossly overate the Dodges Ferry boys.... Yeah there might be 1 or 2 that MAY have the ability to play for Lauderdale but lets be honest there isn't a great deal of players down there that would be in Lauderdales top bracket of players...
I agree with u TBRR. Has got all the qualities to be a super player.... But is no where near it yet. Watched him a fair bit this year... Fails to deliver in big games and was only a contributer...not a star for Hobart this year (my opinion only) I think Howe will end up being a really good...
Some interesting results?? Would of thought only 1 interesting result in that Richmond easily beat Hutchins who have been on the up for a while now (they were due to lose 1 at some stage) St Virgils beating OHA was no surprise and Uni beating channel was a given too. Will be a great finals...
I watched OHA on the weekend and they were terrible.... Rogers included. They looked slow and were beaten in most areas of the ground. I reckon richmond might knock uni over this week though.... should be a ripper:thumbsu:
Anybody keen to list there BEST old scholars rep side from this years comp??? Id be interested to see how they would line up against the sfl's best. Any thoughts on how the side would go? Surely the old scholars has bridged the gap between the 2 comps?:thumbsu:
There are a couple of poor humans in that list u have mentioned Cooee bulldog... Any news on where curley is going to play? i hear Devine will line up for uni this week... i wonder if nth hobart will clear him?? Good to see J o brian in the best players for dosa i reckon he is a handy...
Re: N.T.F.L thread - 2010
Heard Yesterday that Smithton were going to have a crack at a former Devil to coach next year? Im tipping its not blight:eek:
Can u give us a bit of a run down on the game silly season. where was the game won? Midfield? Fwd Line? i see Uni have got hogan, he must be getting on in age now surely
Great to see the Old Scholars comp improving each year, tassie footy is alive and well. The flag will be won by Richmond St Virgils Or Uni. Those who think different probably dont know the comp too well.:thumbsu:
My mail is that DOSA got whacked by about 15-20 goals by Kingborough last week.... Poor early form. Round 1 at University doesn't get much easier either.... hope they improve quickly, im looking fwd to watching the roosters go a touch better this year. Good luck to all sides.:thumbsu:
Thought id jump on and fill everybody in with some pre season news. Heard that St Virgils are travelling really well - beat Brighton and Burdon kicked a heap
Richmond easy winners over Huonville recently and with the inclusions of Baker and Triffet, they should be strong again. Does anyone know...
All ok players...Fagan will be handy. I'd be pretty confident in saying Whitelaw and Beechey have got there best footy behind them.. Were ok a number of years ago though.
