Ok, I have ditched Impey for McDonough and I have ditched Webster for Laidler and Simpson for Houli so I can upgrade Vince to Murphy.
Have I improved or gone backwards? :)
Thanks!!
Only have about $22K left over. The DEF and FWD rookies are hard especially thinking guys that will get regular gigs.
What's your thoughts on Jesse Hogan?
Thanks mate!
Webster is risky, but much in the def at the low end... Laidler better? (or someone else?)
As long as he plays 3. :) Again not much in the FWDs...
Vince is risky, but hopefully a POD and I would like to hope he continues NAB form on (for what it is worth)
Thanks for your feedback!
Hi all,
So... just started tinkering with my team. What do people think of this:
DEF: Mcveigh, Mitchell (S), Simpson, Suckling, Webster, L. McDonald, Langford, Langdon
MID: Ablett, Pendles, Watson, J., Vince, Beams, Polec, X. Ellis, Michie, Dunstan, Crouch
RUC: Ryder, Andi, Thurlow, King...
My point is that there are those players which absolutely tear it up in the NAb cup, but when the season starts they don't follow the NAb cup form up. The question is Karnezis has been solid in the NAb cup will that translate into a solid season? Out of the mid pricers in Karnezis, Varcoe...
My 2 cents: Big risk with R2 position. not convinced how much currie is going to add season proper. You could switch cox to the rucks and then use your cash to put another fwd in. Your fwds are a little risky. Karnezis, LeCras and Martin. Martin not too bad (burnt a lot of people last year)...
I too have wrestled this beast. The Cox fwd line, Rowe link and R2 position taken with a Leunenberger, etc Or just lock in Cox and sanother premo ruck and get another fwd? In the end I've gone the latter.
Not sure about Bellchambers in the ruck. Maybe downgrade Beams to a slightly cheaper premium and put the cash into Bellchambers? The rucks/fwds are a bugger this year.
Thoughts on my team:
DEF: Goddard, Gibbs, Duffield, Goodes, Stevenson, Terlich, Pittard, Docherty
MID: Ablett, pendles...
My 2 cents: Not convinced on B Jacobs in the back line for $300K. You have too many mid priced players in the mids. IMO there are some decent mid rookies this year that will provide better value than Magner (don't se him improving much) and Moloney. Not sure on Broughton in the fwds. If you had...
Not bad.... Not sure about Hannebury though, or Broughton in the fwds. Unless you have him there with a DPP link then hes a bit hit and miss and there are better options up fwd. No Franklin or Ablett? A POD from other teams.
Here's my team... rip it apart!
Def: Shaw, H., Rance, Broughton...
I have a ruck conundrum:
Mummy and Hmac ; Mummy and Hale; Mummy and Maric; Mummy and Kreuzer?
VS. Sandi and Hmac; Sandi and Maric; Sandi and Kreuzer?
Who will be more consistent with scoring and which pair has the mroe upside?
Thanks!!
Are you one player short in your midfield? An easy suggestion would be downgrade either Lewis or Dangerfield (if you downgraded Dangerfield to Porps you save about 200K) I too would like to see Ablett in your mids, but you could use the left over cash to upgrade Maric to say Kreuzer?
Looks pretty good. A little weak in the ruck area (Will Leuie be a big scorer say vs Kreuzer, etc?) Are you going the MPP with the mids in your FWD line? (if so maybe worth having Kerridge in your Mid?)
Some thoughts :)
My version 2.0
Back: Gods, Lids, Shaw, H., Wilkes, Lake, Ellis...
Re: DREAM TEAM/SUPERCOACH - Please post ALL queries regarding Dream Team/Supercoach/Player Injuries
Hi there,
What are peoples thoughts on Sam Kerridge and Talia? Are they in the best 22, will they get a game early on? Looking from an SC perspective.
Thanks!
Moving in the right direction. Some comments - Dempsey is a risk based on his long history with soft tissue injuries. You have a lot of money tied up in your midfield. You could downgrade a premo here and throw in another rookie (maybe Pendles - still leaves you with good scoring options). With...
Ok, since no one seems to have commented on this here is my (rather unqualified) 2 cents worth - You seem to have a lot of mid price players. A lot of people on here wisely warn against this. Whilst there are some that are risky but potentially worht having (1 or 2 max) in your team such as...
Ok, so this is doing my head i - Carazzo vs Scotland? Which one?
Razzo slithgly cheaper, but which has the most scoring potential (expecially consistent basis)
Thanks for the feedback mate! Much appreciated! :D
I will keep an eye on Zorko and look at changing. My reasoning behind Goodes in the Mids is that he provides a (potentially) good scoring option and allows MPP with my other MPPs in the FWD line. Does this work/make sense? (I didn't usee MPP...
Ok, all you SC guru's out there :) Please prvide feedback on my team (pick it apart!) I am more interested in league wins. I have gone for a mixture of plenty of money making potential, solid guns in each position and DPPs.
Pls provide feedback on my DPPs and performance in byes.
Backs...
I am no expert but I reckon you may have a bit too much cash in your mids (more value to be had imo). You could downgrade Boyd get a 1st year player and use the cash to upgrade your fwwds. Franklin & Sylvia are risky.
Hey fellas,
I am no expert in SC and wanted to run my team by the BF experts :)
Here it is:
Backs:
Goddard, Hurley, Deledio, Cheny, Grimes, Otten Duigan
Smedts, Puopolo, Jacobs
Mids:
Swan, Judd, Montag, Swallow, Harris, Polec
Heppell, Gaff, Mzungu
Rucks:
Sandi, Cox
Petrie, Smith...
Looks like a good start IMO. Here is my 2cents worth:
Backs - Gotta get Enright in there. An awesome backman. I don't like Hayden so maybe upgrade him to Enright?
Mids - Cooney isn't too bad, but if possible look at upgrading to a genuine gun. Also don't think Kerr will do much this year. Look...
