We had a kicking in danger paid against us in the Adelaide game a couple of weeks ago.

Play had stopped due to a free kick, I think that is why he was pinged for a illegal shepperd. My understanding was if the play has stopped you cant stop someone from running even if you are within 5 meters of the ball. Could be wrong though.:)

Try again. Cox only kicked one goal (roving at the back of the pack in the last) and didn't have any frees paid to him. He did get 19 disposals, 9 marks and 30 hitouts though, maybe more of a reason why we won than made up goals from free kicks?;)
